Thank goodness Al played limited minutes in game 2. There are going to be some guys that have to play a lot tonight

I re-watched the game and Haliburton seemed fine after his supposed injury....he showed no ill effects running up and down the court...weird.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Jrue is on the cover page of the game today for the Celtics. Is that a sign he’s playing? C’s almost never put a guy if they are hurt or not playing

If Jrue doesn't play, start PP and give him plenty of minutes.  He is hot right now, leading the team in 3pt shooting at 47.5%.  As a reminder, Sam shot over 48% from 3 during the Miami series.  Unfortunately, he has been 0/6 so far against the Pacers.  He's not taking many shots, maybe with more time on the court he will get his shot back.  I think Sam has been playing strong defense and other than his 3pt shooting he is playing ok for one of the bench guys.

I would expect they’d start Pritchard — he’s typically started when of Jrue or White have been out and also KP or Al, as would be the case today.

Pacers fans wearing their all yellow shirts

Just like the Thunder or Jazz with their color nights in playoffs. Hopefully C’s can weather the storm early. Wouldn’t surprise me if IND got off to a hot start

If Jrue can't go, I'd start Hauser. If you start Pritchard there's no back-up PG.

Maybe putting Hauser in with the starters will give him a little more confidence and he can start making shots again. Against Miami, Hauser was 12/25 from three. Since the Miami series, he's 3/15.

Yeah, I agree maybe starting Hauser helps get him out of his shooting funk.  But if no Haliburton, does that mean TJ starts, then who guards him White?  If Jrue is out today it feels like another game that Oshae or X is going to have to slot in to big minutes.  Hopefully Jrue can play...he has been lights out these last few games.

Per Shams

Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton is expected to miss Game 3 tonight vs. Boston due to a re-injured left hamstring, sources tell me and @joevardon.

IMO they will start mcconnnell. I don’t think Hauser can guard him. Start PP

Not sure we see haliburton again this series

We may be getting the marque version of the PP vs TJ matchup tonight!

I’m all for it. Seems like an easy decision to start PP if McConnell starts

Pacers vs. Boston this year....

With Haliburton: 178 minutes, -17
Without Haliburton: 163 minutes, -65

Haliburton OUT tonight:

Quote
ESPN Sources: Indiana Pacers All-NBA G Tyrese Haliburton is unlikely to play Game 3 vs. the Boston Celtics tonight with a left hamstring injury. Boston leads the Eastern Conference Finals 2-0.
