Heck of a JB game.

Tatum's stat line was deceiving tonight: 23 on 9-20 fgs, 6 rebs, 5 asts, and 4 TOs. That's an average stat line for him, but he played a lot worse than what that suggests.

It's true, but it's only because he was so putrid in the 1st half.

Him getting going really helped create separation in the 2nd half. It wasn't an epic Tatum game, but he ended up playing pretty well after what looked like it could be much worse.

But, yeah, Brown was the man. Also, shoutout to Oshae! So many of us have been calling for him to get minutes and his energy helped a lot out there

Awesome team win.  19 second half points for Tatum with 0 turnovers.  Way to respond after one of the worst halves I've ever seen him play.

White was great.  Hit huge 3's.  Efficient.  6 assists, 0 turnovers.

Holiday continues to dominate.  15 points on just 7 shots.  10 assists, just 1 turnover.

And Jaylen Brown.  My man.

Brown on his way to ECF MVP

I hope so. I think it would mean a lot to him, especially after the All-NBA snub.

He really kept us in the game (and led us in the game) when we just looked pretty rough in the first half.

The crowd missed a perfect opportunity for an MVP chant for JB when he was at the line late in the 4th.  I was actually hoping for an “All NBA” chant :)
Yup

Boom!  JB dominant.  Tatum a little sleepy but we won’t mention that.  The team seems unbeatable when White is hitting 3’s.  Hate to see Haliburton hurt, but if he is let’s just sweep this shnizzle.

Korney going out forced his hand but nice to see Joe go to Brisset.  He is perfect for this series.

Tatum's jumpers aren't falling but Drew Hanlen is in town so hopefully they can work out the mechanics like they did before the 2nd half of the regular season. Otherwise, the passing, defense, and rebound is there.

I would def love to see more Oshae and Tillman in this series. Those aren't guys with great offensive, but their energy and competitiveness could make difference.

if Haliburton re-injured his hamstring, then this series is a sweep. They are toast without him. They actually won his minutes tonight by +1.

I think we're witnessing peak Jaylen Brown in these playoffs

Jaylen doing the post game interview…can someone tell him we won? He always sounds so depressed. He’s like the human Eeyore.

I actually like his poker-face demeanor, but that's just me.  I appreciate how well-spoke both he and Tatum are.

Lol magic works like a charm

My friend is not impressed with Haliburton out, but I also reminded him we don't have Porzingis and Kornet so no excuses lol

C's in 5 against heat

C's in 5 against cavs

Exactly. Both of the Jays are stoic and even-keeled. That's not going to change and I like it. I much prefer to the forced rage/bravado stuff we sometimes see from athletes.

If Haliburton is out, then I'd be surprised if it isn't an easy sweep. I know that Siakam and Nembhard can apparently hit 95% of their mid-range shots, but hopefully the Celtics will realize what's in front of them and continue to play hard and win.
