Brissett is making Joe look like an absolute fool right now. The entire world was calling on him to go to either Brissett or X (or just play smaller with Tatum at 5) instead of Kornet and the over-reliance on Al, and he just refused to do it. It took a dang injury to Kornet to actually force his hand.

He's just way too dogmatic and prideful of a coach that is set in his ways and not dynamic enough.

Well Tatum at least hit a few shots that quarter, but the process was still just awful.

Tatum at 31 and Brown at 29 minutes with 12 to play. I wonder how much rest those guys will get in the 4th.

I know it’s a small sample size so far, but I’m willing to bet that this Oshae Brissett thing will continue to work. But it took an injury for Joe to even give him a chance. It might be proof that Mazzulla has no idea what he’s doing in terms of rotations.

Another letup at the end of the quarter but not as costly as prior letups.  The Brown three I suppose was acceptable given two for one, but really not a great shot. Not complaining though about either Jay or DW in that quarter.

The end of quarter shots were to get the 2 for 1. I know people won't like the shots but just mathematically its the right move.

I generally agree with the 2 for 1, but those were two poor shots. Glad Tatum played good D on Obi to keep the lead at 13.
