Hauser and Kornet are a -10 and -12, respectively, and they got torched all first half long on defense and rebounding. And the momentum changed as soon as Joe took them both out and went with the more mobile X instead.

So what does Joe do for the second half? He goes right back to that pairing, they get exposed defensively, and they go on a run. Terrible decision-making from him.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
we need someone to give us a spark on def.  please someone!

We literally have 3 excellent defensive players just sitting there on the bench in Queta, Springer, and Brissett. I get they all suck offensively, but so does the rest of our team. Maybe we'd at least get a loose ball or grab a rebound.

Kornet and Hauser are just completely unplayable.

This team is great when they are up 20+ and blowing teams out, but any time it's close in the 2nd half it feels like they just turtle and let the opposition strangle them to the end. Same tonight. CLE is gonna hold the lead between 8-12 the rest of the way now.

Yup….its basically their identity. They’re front running frauds

Mitchell acting like he won title. They have zero chance in winning 4 games vs us.

Well they most likely will win two at home so that gets them to 3

Tatum didn't even bother to go for the rebound. That is the type of stuff that kills me with him.
Yeah, sometimes it seems like he can’t wait to get out of there to play video games with his son.

I should've been expecting him to lead us in the 4th quarter. But no, I am expecting White or Brown.

This is where not having KP hurts us. With all the others outside of Tatum and somewhat Brown not contributing offensively, we've stalled.

And our defense isn't keeping us in it on the other end, particularly our guard defense.

6 for 25 from 3.

Celtics have no other option on offense if they don’t make a ton of threes

It's not just the 3-point shooting, but our defense has been awful. First time since... Game 2 last round

Celtics can’t guard Mitchell. Never have been able to.

You know what, good for Cleveland though. They heard all the doubts/mockery and just balled out tonight. C's only have themselves to blame.

Well we knew Mitchell was going to have a game like this.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I mean, if Mitchell is going to hit crap like that.... Going to be hard to win with several of our guys laying eggs offensively.
