They looked bored after getting up by 30. Even I fell asleep, and then it was a 10-point game. Once the shots stopped falling, I knew we were in trouble. The Hawks started playing well. For the love of Jesus, KP has to be stronger; there's no way Bruno should be blocking your shot, or was it Clint? At 7'3", you should be able to punch it in or use a pump fake. Hauser had a rough game but played good defense; I saw him block Murray. Losses like this happen, but I truly hope they learn from it. When I saw Iso Tatum towards the end, I knew we were going to lose. It was a very embarrassing loss.

Bucks have just as much to prove as Boston. They are championship or bust also, even more so because they have a much older roster.

Giannis has won a title. This Celtics core has not. That’s the difference.
Celtics can absolutely take it to another level, dominate there way to a title. They are more than capable of that and next year I guarantee I won’t be on here questioning if they can do it or not.
They could also fizzle out like the suns team a couple years ago that finished 8 games ahead of the next closest team in the west and then got punked in the second round. Games like last night have me worried.

If it takes just one player on the team with a title, then we have Jrue Holiday, who went through the same things Giannis did and learned the same lessons. Why is that mot enough?

Most of the bucks core was actually part of that title, also I don’t know why this has to be explained but jrue is a role player and Giannis is the face of the bucks franchise. The Celtics franchise player(s) have not broken through yet. Having a role player that’s won doesn’t hurt but it’s not the same.

Talk me off the ledge, but, I starting to think the Bucks are the best team in the east. They have that mentality. Championship experience. They don't choke as badly as the Celtics do.

Giannis is a force. Dame can score 3's at will. Khris is back to form. Pat Bev is a defensive menace. Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis tough. Jae Crowder coming together.

We get all this crap from people about having a “super team” when the bucks literally have a better roster than us and the best player overall. I do not care that they are 11 games behind us or whatever it is, if they figure it out going into the playoffs they are every bit as good if not better than us.
The Celtics have done nothing but put immense pressure on themselves with the regular season they’ve had. Other teams essentially can play us with a nothing to lose mentality.

Hmmm. I’m not a bucks fan/troll. I just don’t blindly put the Celtics over them because we have had a great regular season and they haven’t…how many examples in sports are there where the best regular season team leads to nothing? More than I can count.

You do not criticize the Bucks. Even when they have terrible losses like at Portland.

If the bucks lose or play poorly you make excuses for them. If the Celtics and bucks regular seasons had been reversed you would be praising the bucks for it. Yet you marginalize what the Celtics have done.

No one on this board thinks a playoff series would be easy with them. I do think the Celtics would win it though.

Nothing about the Celtics makes you happy nor encouraged. If the Celtics would sweep the bucks you would find something to complain about.

Last night was inexcusable and embarrassing. Can’t happen. But other teams have had bad losses to bad teams…including the bucks (lost to the rockets, jazz twice, Memphis, Portland)

I’ve stated many times the Celtics have had a much better season to this point than the bucks and are the overwhelming favorites. Championship or bust.
If the Celtics dominated in the playoffs and swept the bucks I’d be absolutely thrilled and will be the first to come on here and say how wrong i was.
As of now my stance is they are an extremely scary team that in my opinion will ramp up in the playoffs and it’s going to take the Celtics 7 games to beat them.
If the bucks were 11 games ahead of us I would also still give us a chance and almost would prefer that underdog role.
