They should play him and develope a role for him early on. That doesn?t necessarily mean he should get consistent minutes but I think he could useful.

Depends on whether they can tune up that three ball. 

He could shoot in college.  Maybe they think they can fix whatever is broken there.  That jumpshot is the difference between him being a dime-a-dozen deep bench hustle guy or a valuable 3-and-D roleplayer who potentially challenges Pritchard for his spot in the rotation.  But guards cannot stick around in this league shooting 23% career from three.

Well, his shot looks as bad as the percentages.  So a lot of work to do but I agree with you.  If he can't fix his shot (and that is a big if) then he won't become anything.
