Was that Bukayo Saka who just swapped jerseys with JB? Isn’t the Premier League ongoing? Nice too see though.

Yes it was! Believe he was visiting the New Balance HQ but he's a Celtics fan so dropped in for the game.

I knew Nurkic fat butt would be worn out in the 2nd half....run him into the ground.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

It's nice that even without Porzingis we play really well. We're a deep team with no real egos/character concerns.

Definitely one thing about this team that I love - we have guys in their prime who have an unselfish attitude.
Think about the NBA stars who became more unselfish later in their careers because winning became a priority.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Maybe Joe is a good coach.

playoffs will determine him

Let’s see how we do against Miami in the first round.

Miami is going to be the 6 or 7 seed in the end. And Boston will most likely not see them at all in the playoffs.

I’m just happy to see Grayson Allen lose. I can’t stand that guy
Yup, that's the main thing.  8)
Overall, Suns are not a very likeable team. Allen, Durant and Booker are among my least favorite NBA players.

Lol at Vogel saying the refs let the Celtics get away with stuff and the suns got called on everything.

He's half-right.  We did get away with a lot yesterday, but so did they.  For a team that "got called on everything", they ended up with less fouls than us.

The refs generally let the players play yesterday.

Did you all notice that all five C starters played exactly 33 minutes.....maybe all about Larry Bird.

The ref's have pretty much let the players player since the all-star break. Fouls are way down. The NBA illuminati saw offense breaking the game and decided to suddenly let defenders get physical.

Meanwhile Jaylen Brown saw that happen and decided "I'm going to run over everybody."

Yes, I've never seen that. Wonder if it has ever happened. Kinda weird looking box score.

Not sure he was going to actually block it, but it was a solid contest.
