Remarkable we have the lead.  The Suns have 12 offensive rebounds.

And another two points off an offensive rebound. That crap has to get fixed in the second half.

Have to rebound the basketball.  The rebounding disparity is the only reason this one is close.

Gotta love the shotmaking though.

C’mon refs, that was such a late call!!

The closer ref gave us the ball!

That was such a weird sequence. The ref first overturns the call, then decides to call a foul on JB haha!

Given the poor rebounding, atrocious refs and Durant looking great, feels like a miracle we're up 3. And we could probably be up 20 if the refs actually decided to call it fairly...
Yep. Up by 5 at the half after all that. If the Celtics figure out how to box out Nurkic, they'll be ok. Not that I saw anything in that half that makes me think they'll figure it out.

Nurkic is a handful...

They have more than double our rebounds. We only have 13 for the half. That's pretty terrible. Our bigs have to make that a priority in the second half to block out Nurkic. Too big and too good of a rebounder to not make it a priority.

Man, who's the lucky Western contender who gets to draw a healthy Suns team in the first round? Real upset potential there.

13 to 1 offensive rebounds. 12 more FGA for PHX. Clean that up and we win easy.

Joe gave X a DNP-CD for game in Phoenix. I expect the same today.

Big Al 0 rebounds
Tillman 1 rebound
Kornet 0 rebounds
Holiday and Brown both with 0 rebs

Gotta rebound by committee.

In fact, PP has more rebounds than all those players combined (and he has 2 in 10 minutes)

Huh? Didn’t Tillman play in the first half?

Just tuning in.

Yeah, we are winning, but right away, I don't like what I see.
We ae shooting the lights out and only up 5 ? As the halftime Clown Show commented, the Celts (Tatum) are hitting difficult step-back 3's and right now, they are going in. We all know too well, that is fool's gold. Barkley is right on target when he says, of course you are going to be a streaky team when you shoot difficult shots consistently, tonite they are going in but not always, especially vs better defensive teams with a good coach in a playoff series with lots of defensive prep time. But Joe stubbornly insists this formula will win a title and it will not.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce
