This bench is really capable of providing energy/intensity when the starters are playing lackluster. Tillman locks in defensively.

Love JT taking it to the hole. Team is maturing.

So, on one hand, I get the strategy of focusing on trying to shut down Tatum and staying on the others and trying to let JB shoot a lot and beat you. But it feels like they took it to an extreme and were essentially just giving up wide open threes to JB. He's a good enough shooter where you simply can't do that, especially with how he can get hot and score in bunches like he did. Big miscalculation by Kerr there.
And when you add that the Celtics' plan of late is to unleash Jaylen to score in the first while Tatum eases into the game,  it seems Kerr played right into Joe's plan.

Smart basketball by Tatum passing up the 3 and driving for a layup.
I'm impressed by that decision - that's what I am referring to when I complain about dumb basketball vs smart.

Tatum saw Green as the lone defender on the fastbreak with a 30+ point lead and just KNEW some dirty stuff was coming from Green and smartly hung back  ;D

yeah if you would have watched a lot of C's games you know that JB kickstarts us in the 1st typically.   Why you want to just enhance that I have no idea.   I think Draymond thinks JB is weak mentally so they think they will just give him open looks and he will miss I guess?
