Davis and LeBrick questionable for tonight.

I think at least one of them sits out tonight.

Los Angeles Lakers say Anthony Davis (bilateral Achilles tendinopathy & left hip spasm) and LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy) are out tonight against the Boston Celtics.

My guess for LeBron is he wants to play in MSG Saturday and knows tonight probably would not have ended well for him without Davis.

From the Lakers perspective, unless BOTH guys were able to play it makes sense that neither plays. One or the otehr alone has no shot agianst this C's team.

But it still stinks.

Take the game seriously and run them out of Boston.

They probably looked at it as a scheduled loss anyways. Their schedule does ease up a little after the Knicks game this Saturday

I don’t need to see the Celtics playing down to these jokers tonight. Come out and drop the hammer.

I'm surprised LeBron and Davis aren't up to play this game. This and that Xmas game should've been on their calendars circled.

It won't surprise me if the Celtics drop this game for playing down to their competition. Maybe we can rest Porzingis.

This should be good news for us, but we all know how Boston's had a tendency in recent years to let up when they hear that the opponent's stars are going to be sitting out. Hopefully they demolish the Lakers.

I think that’s the best hope for the Lakers, but the Garden crowd should help the C’s find their energy if it languishes with LeBron on the other side.  20k fans will be very motivated when they see the purple and gold, regardless of the names on the back of the jerseys.

On the other hand they destroy bad teams. 17-2 vs teams below .500. The Lakers even with Lebron and Davis are a below .500 team, so this puts them firmly in the bad category. Celtcis should roll.

Kind of stinks for people who paid money for this game tho. And for TNT.

They'll probably flex mid-game to Pacers/Knicks if the game goes out of hand.

But Pacers/Knicks would have been a nice alternative over Lakers/Celtics.
