Man, post Jaylen has been fun tonight.

Way too strong.  None of the Pacers players can guard him.

These pacers guards are too small to contest Brown.

Bench helping out to start the 4th.  Q is really working hard.

Did I see a post saying we need Kornet?  Anyway, that is why I love Brown as a guard. He can punish them if they try to cover him with a smaller player. But he can smother them on the other end.

Tangentially related, I'd like to see Tatum get back into the post a little more like he was to start the season.  I think both of the Jays are lethal down there but JT has drifted away from it as the year has gone on.

The funny thing is that Indy isn't a big team either, so their offensive rebounding is a bit odd. My guess is that the high rate of quick threes they shoot leads to longer kick outs, which generally benefits the offense.

I don't get to watch Indy that often due to being in their market and not getting their League Pass games. Do they scheme to crash the boards on offensive possessions, too, instead of getting back? That would also help explain some of the poor transition defense.

Good screen by Queta to spring Tatum for a step-in open three.

Agreed.  Much better than early shot clock off the dribble 3's.  Tatum will command double teams or at the very least a shift in the defense.  Creates open looks for others.

Prefer Jrue shooting an open three over KP.  Don't over-pass.

They just don't have enough guns without Haliburton.

  • GOT IT!!!
I can see why the Pacers swept the Bucks. They literally never stop attacking you on offense. I assume the Bucks defense (or lack thereof) just couldn't keep up.

Oh come on ref.  Nesmith bulled right through KP's hip.  That's not an offensive foul.
