It has always been a bit of a mystery to me how JB plays a very physical offensive game but doesn't really see the free throw stripe much.
i am also surprised brown does not get called for pushing off a lot more. watch him on drives. he puts his forearm into defenders pretty often.

You're assuming refs call the game consistently? How can the NBA build narratives and promote players they think are more marketable if they call the game consistently? (This is why I would never bet on an NBA game. There's constant "massaging" of the games.)

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Eh... while I agree, by rule most ball-handling wings get away with a lot in that area.  Tatum arguably does it even more than Brown does.  Butler, Doncic, Harden.  They all create space and angles with a lot of off-arm shoves and elbows.

But all of those guys get downhill (or used to, in Harden's case) and pick up calls.  Jaylen... doesn't.

Good timeout by Joe. It looked like the team was just going through he motions and waiting for Indiana to fold. Gotta keep the pressure up.

It can be tough to guard these 'heliocentric' offenses when they lose their main guy.  Guys start doing things that aren't in the scouting report.

Typical 3rd quarter. Instead of burying them they let up. So frustrating.
