Brown is like a blue collar worker who works hard and always finds ways to improve, and works his way up the corporate ladder to become a CEO.

I was the one who opposed him getting 300mio salary, but I was wrong. You deserve it Jaylen, and I'm happy for you.

Now having said that, go get us banner 18.

In retrospect, Jaylen should have been the #1 pick over Ben Simmons and Ingram. At the time, I thought Simmons was going to be a beast and was a little bummed that we missed on Ingram. We could have easily picked Dragan Bender, Kris Dunn, Buddy Hield, Jamal Murray (though he's good), or Marques Chriss.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Yep, time for my periodic admission that I wanted Dunn.

If we win NBA Finals I'll remove my #JTJB sig. But I still expect Brown to perform at a high rate in the Finals, keep making big plays and all. Winning the ECF MVP is trivial matter, the next trophy is the important one  :P

I really think you should at least take down the JTJB one now. It's so cringey.

I'll keep my promise to ozgod to leave it up for the next series since it's been a magical ride ;) But on the condition that the Boston Celtics win banner 18 next month I will remove that. No doubt he's put up some powerful numbers in the ECF and played decently in the playoffs. The other thing that still bothers me is his free throw %.

Also didn't mean to say his ECF MVP is useless (how I phrased it originally). It's another accolade that'll look great on his resume and well deserved. I just say there's something more important as a team to accomplish and that's in the next series which he'll need to help accomplish ;D

Yesss Sparz is our reverse jinx he has a 100% record on his predictions - if you take the opposites :police: So Jaylen is going to have a yuuuuuggggeee series against Dallas

I remember wanting Buddy Hield or Murray for that draft.

I remember only wanting the C's to draft Brown!  Back then, there weren't many of us on his bandwagon.  Now, ECF MVP!

But I think Spars is predicting Brown “to perform at a high rate, making big plays and all”.  That portends a disastrous performance by JB upcoming. And spars can’t just say JB and Cs will choke, he has to believe it.  The jinx gods know.

I’m guessing they have gone in hiding. JB has been awesome and deserves a fan base that roots for him.

I wanted Hield. At least Murray wasn't a bad choice either, an NBA champion.

Just hated that Ben Simmons stole Tatum's glory for ROTY.
