  • GOT IT!!!
Boxscore watched the game due to Christmas activities. Looking forward to the rewatch later on. Just a different mentality for this team compared to last season. Last two weeks have certainly shown that. Merry Christmas everyone!

I can honestly say there isn't a team in the league that I think can take us in a 7 game series

I smell trap game written all over this one. Huge back to back wins on the road. Now the C's are favored at the Crypto. LeBron and team rallying together. Rivalry game and revenge game for LeBron thanks to last year.

Lakers take this one unfortunately.

But let's go C's!!!

The reverse jinx keeps on rollin'  8)
I predicted 1-3 with losses coming from SAC, LAC, and LAL while winning in GSW.  8)

Think I'll keep it up with this  ;)

Is there some reason Pritchard got so few minutes while playing well and then, of course, Tatum got 41 minutes struggling at times ?
I realize they play different positions, so I'm not suggesting a direct changes sub, one for the other, but Pritchard @ 13 is too low and Tatum @ 41 is too high. Mazzulla continues to play Tatum into the ground. Tired legs will lead to 1 - 6 three-point shooting.

The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

The Lakers focused a lot on mismatches and working to get them for AD and Lebron but mainly AD and that’s how he had such a strong game. Pritchard is just a big mismatch on defense with that. They even attacked White often too so that made it tough to play Pritchard depending on the Lakers lineups. Not a huge fan of +/- for a single game but Pritchard was one of the only players with a minus and that matches the eye test in this one for me. Would have liked to seen some Brissett minutes though to help take some minutes from Tatum in this one but it’s a win and they have some rest now.

Great win. Should have been a perfect road trip. The GS game was in total control.

Celtics have played more away games than the Bucks and Sixers have played a much tougher schedule. Finish out the month strong.

I was frustrated with the Pats winning on Christmas eve. It was pretty nice to beat the Lakers on Christmas. Good win Cs!

I don't know that we would have seen the same intensity in the Kings game if they weren't coming off the blown GS game.

Awesome trip.  Some really strong play with a lot of different guys contributing.  Very entertaining team.
Yup

LeFraud's excuse for losing? The Lakers were not healthy and the Celtics were...

Seriously? Does this dope realize Boston had 2 starters miss games on this 4 game trip? What a turd.

Agreed.  The loss at Golden State was disappointing, but the Celtics used that loss to come out incredibly focused in the subsequent games.  The resilience was great.  Compare that to last year when the C’s entered Golden State on a run in December with a 21-5 record, lost to the Warriors, and then lost 4 of their next 5 as well.  The season is long, and every team is going to lose some games they should have won.  But it’s about how you respond to those losses, and the Celtics have passed that test so far this year.

Lebron pretty friendly with the Celtics players after the buzzer. I wonder if he's thinking of pulling a late career Shaq and joining us next season?

After all he’s said about Boston as a city throughout his career?  I can’t imagine it.  He’d be happy for any of a number our players to join him in LA tho.

I am curious in seeing his commitment to playing with Bronny, however.  The Lakers likely won’t pick until the 50s, having only the Clippers second this season (although the Pelicans have the right to defer their pick from the Lakers until 2025).
