Important that we won both of these games.  Our schedule for most of this month is ridiculously difficult.

Agreed. After these two Orlando games, it's gonna be a trip out to the west coast. Hope we sweep the west coast series, but if not, hope we beat LA (Lakers).

Horford had a strong game. 7pts/10rebs/3ast off the bench.  8)

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Nice win. Led all the way.  Was a little stressful for a bit but Cs were able to answer every time Cavs got a little too close. Looking forward to the 2 home games v. Orlando.

Though they used do these two-game sets vs the Knicks over a weekend in the early 70's, those were home & home and only scheduled once (?) each season. Plus at that time, the Celts/Knicks were the two best teams in the league and those games were huge.

The twin games vs various teams they put in the schedule now are like baseball double-headers, very hard to sweep.
Celts did well to get these two wins against a decent team. I sure would like to give Orlando the same treatment.

Feels like that was one of Joe's better coached games in his career. Had the guys ready from the get-go, made excellent adjustments particularly on the high pnr coverage, and made some good timeouts that led to responses by the team. Well done.

Yeah, when do we get to the dang easy part of our schedule? Lol We're already like top-3 in most difficult strength of schedule thus far, and the rest of this month is the toughest stretch of the season.

Meanwhile, it seems like Philadelphia and Milwaukee are playing easier teams every other night, particularly this stretch for Philadelphia right now.

Yeah, it is strange to have two of them in a row, particularly against quality teams. But overall I like the two-game sets with the same opponent. Increases the competitiveness and gives the team some prep opportunities for the playoffs with making adjustments.
