Ball-handling guards with jumpshots are just unguardable in modern rules.  Sometimes they miss.  If they're hot, forget it.  There's no way to play the high screen game without giving up something.

Did Pritchard go home?

Pritchard playing well and has only 8 minutes at this point while Joe plays the starters into the ground ?

Jrue made that three, but I hate that shot. That was a wide open lane to the basket, or even a short pull up jumper.

Yeah, that Jrue 3 bothered me as well. He had the whole left baseline wide open. Why force a 3? Take it to the hoop.

We're just giving up wide open shot after wide open shot off the high PnR with the extreme drop coverage. No idea what Joe is thinking with continuing that non-sense when it's celarly not working.
This is who they are. Their bigs can’t play anything but drop at this point. The wings/guards need to fight better through the picks. It’s on them tbh. They are just dying on picks.

That was some seriously hot shooting, by both teams, to end the Q3.

I really don't understand the double big lineup with Kornet.

Not a an of this lineup at all - Brown and the bench with no Jrue or White or even KP?
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Is Caris LeVert the new Evan Turner?

the high pnr is not a difficult concept to defend but this team seemingly wants to eschew defense and simply outshoot everyone. not a strategy for success, particularly come playoff time.

Bad shot by Jaylen. No need to rush that shot. Calm things down. Get something easy.

They have the bigs WAY too low. Agree that drop coverage is reasonable for them to play given who the bigs are, but all of them are playing so deep into the paint that they're walking right into wide open threes or midrange jumpers. At least contest a little bit if you're playing drop; otherwise, you're not playing defense at all and might as well be on the bench.

Jaylen is playing good basketball tonight.

EDIT:  Bad possession just as I type that.  Bleh.
