Curry will be 36 years old next year. Jaylen 28 years young.  The Warriors run is over. Not sure how many other packages are out there totalling 51 million, but we can Offer a Star two way wing plus a draft pick or Two.

This is obviously something we only do if we get bounced early this year. Warriors could certainly do worse than adding Brown I'm his prime.  Whether id to keep him or flip him again down the line.

Porzingis
Horforpd
Tatum
White
Curry

Think about trading Holiday for pieces that can help.

Seems like many reasons why this probably won't happen, mainly because if GS is getting rid of Curry it probably means they are accepting the fact that they are rebuilding and probably want to shed salary.   Or they probably want a huge haul of 1st round draft picks to rebuild from.  Would C's give up Brown and multiple 1st round picks for a 2 year rental with Curry?  Maybe Curry maintains a high level of play for 5 more years?   It seems unlikely, but look at Lebron.

I do kind of wonder what is going to happen with GS after this season.   Klay makes 43 million this year and is an UFA next year right?  Change is going to be in the air.  Klay is 34, Curry 36, Green is 34, something is going to happen one way or another.

The idea seems a bit crazy, since Curry and the Warriors looks like a marriage for eternity. But if you look at the bigger salaries in the NBA very few of them deem more likely to be traded. And the guys who do aren't that attractive like Beal, Gobert, LaVine, VanVleet, Simmons, Irving, Ayton, McCollum, Randle, Poole or Grant.

Other trading partners for Brown could be Cleveland (you'd try very hard to get Mitchell), Atlanta (stacking up quality role players for depth) or Brooklyn (Bridges + assets). Coming back to the original idea, it makes sense to also let go of Holiday, who honestly isn't living up fully to expectations. With Curry traded and Thompson let go, the Warriors probably also want to let go of Green and his antics. We'd be merging the best players of the Celtics and the Warriors. Pretty insane.

Thus: Brown + Holiday for Curry + Green?

Starters: Curry/White/Tatum/Green/Porzingis

Oh man. I'd love to see Draymond here.

That team would be so much fun to watch. Draymond and D White as the two glue guys. Great foil to our Big Three scorers.

Curry can help win a couple of championships here too.

I'm all for shipping Brown.

Warriors are not trading Curry unless he asks to be traded (and maybe not even then).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

This is actually a nice talking point. Does Steph ask to be traded at some point in order to get another chance at a ring? Or does he become loyal (to a fault?) and remain with the Warriors even during their rebuilding years. Honestly I think GSW isn’t a contender anymore at this point. I mean is there even a trade out there where they can give Steph a better supporting cast? Klay seems on the decline. Wiggins and Drae are playing way below par. Maybe it’s time to rebuild?

Curry has 4 titles, it isn't like he doesn't have any or just 1.  I don't think another title, especially if he gets it as a secondary or tertiary player actually does anything for his legacy.  So I don't think he is going to be driven by a need to win a title.  He wants to win of course, but I just don't think that will drive decisions on his career. He is at the point where I think he is going to want to play where he wants to live and I don't think he wants to leave San Fran (but that is just a guess).

I think the Warriors could reset fairly easily by trading guys for draft picks and then trading those picks and other guys to get a star.

I think this is pretty much right. I'd just add that there's also probably more value for Curry in being a guy who plays out his entire career with one team vs leaving and MAYBE getting one extra ring somewhere else. There's just not much difference between how Curry with 4 rings will be judged vs Curry with 5.

Yep because I think even with the 5th and Lebron having 4, no one is going to think of Curry as better than Lebron.  The only thing the 5th may do legacy wise is keep him ahead of guys like Jokic and Giannis who are coming up behind him.  Those guys need to get to 3 to start being in that discussion, but I do think is doable for both given their age and talent.

Who says just one? First of all one ring does change things.  Ties him with Kobe, but if he comes to the Celtics at the end of his Prime, With Tatum and Porzingis in their primes, plus white and Holiday,  that's two maybe three rings for Steph.

Which we know six ties Jordan and seven puts him in a league above almost anyone else. Steoh to the Celtics would be Huge.

Lol, when i saw the subject title, I was thinking Seth Curry doesn't come close to Jaylen's salary next season. Because there is no way the Warriors trade Stephen.

I could see Steph doing a year in Charlotte, maybe with his brother,  but that is about it.
