White is so good, tonight....+29
he has been incredible....and how many folks bemoaned the first round pick swap with san antonio?  ;D

To be fair, White stabilizing his 3 pt. shot was a huge improvement to his game. He was hesitant and would disappear on offense during that first half-season here. At least part of the reason they got Brogdon was due to it not appearing like White could score consistently.

I’d like to see more Queta. Opposing players think twice about going into the paint with him in the game. He’s a rebounding machine, too. Grabbed 10 boards in 15mins.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

White is an important part of this Celtics team his contract extension should be prioritised at the end of the season

That's certainly an impressive 15min contribution

C’s out-rebounded Atlanta 58-43. Had a lot more assists, too. 24 to the Hawks 15. Good recipe for winning games.

People will moan & complain but these guys are 13-4 and 1st in the East.

joe still sucks and is a huge liability

Biggest liabilities are still health, player decision-making & depth.   Joe's far from perfect but he's down the pecking order

Deservedly so. They stepped up and did well.

I think when healthy, this team could have an awesome 9-man rotation of the usual starters + Horford/Pritchard/Hauser/Queta, and hopefully Brad can get a legit 3rd big at the deadline.

I do think Banton and Brissett can help in spurts. Not every game of course but from time to time depending on matchups. Banton did well today. I still want to see Lamar Stevens though

Just a gut feeling, wouldn't surprise me if we played Atlanta first round again assuming we make playoffs.

Sure, I was just saying it wasn't crazy to wonder why we needed to throw in that pick swap when it didn't appear like White was going to be able to shoot a respectable pct. from 3.

Queta, despite his impressive rebounding stats, was a defensive liability himself. Bogdan and Young were canning 3s while he was in drop coverage, failed to get anywhere close to a contest. Luckily Joe replaced him with Banton and put the team into a switch coverage, cutting down on those open 3s.
