ESPN is releasing its top 100.  They’ve released 51-100 today, and also said Derrick White is outside the top 100.  Grant Williams made the top 100.  Jordan Poole was 72.  But White is 101 or lower?  I’m just going to declare ESPN the least credible player ranking out there, doesn’t matter who else they rank where.

That’s all.

Yeah, that sounds utterly ridiculous.  He's definitely a top 100 player.

He was essentially voted a top 10 defender  last year and that’s half the game. I guess there must be 200 players better than him on offense

 :P

Indeed, but if ESPN+ weren’t bundled with the Disney+ that my elementary school daughter demands, this article might have made me cancel.

Total trash.

I like Derrick White and think he's really good. However, there's a reason why Brad Stevens traded for Jrue Holiday and relegated White to the bench. And with 30 teams in the league, it would be hard to justify a bench player making a top 100 list.

Is he relegated to the bench?

Again, Grant Williams made the top 100.  There shouldn’t be a poster on this board who thinks Grant is better than White.

Brogdon not in 51-100 either, we'd probably be outraged about that too if he was still here (was #87 last year, #65 the year before).

Came in, won SMOY, healthiest he's been since his rookie year, dropped out of the top 100.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

My guess is he’s in the top 50.

Zinger was 62. No other Celtics in the list.  So they obviously have Jrue in the top 50 along with Brown and Tatum.

If you're 2nd team all-defense and still managing to go 12.4/3.6/3.9 and shooting above 45%, how is that not top 100 worthy?

Are they totally discounting defense here?  It's not like Derrick is an offensive liability on the other end, either.

Stupid ratings.  So arbitrary.  They really are just click bait.
