Listening to JJ Reddick is like listening to a wine moms podcast.

He sure hates the Celtics, no response at all about Parish being the most iconic double zero. He is a prick and always has been. At least his name fits him

Why are the starters still in?

+1...they weren't very good  today
consider it a nice scrimmage to get a sweat going
and then move on.

Hot take: is KP our second best player? I think he is...

He may be on this roster.

Given his size and particular skillset, I'm starting to wonder if he becomes our second leading scorer. With so much attention paid to the Jays and KP's floor-stretching abilities, I think he'll really benefit and score a lot.

His versatility as an offensive is really important, especially at his size. If he and JT develop a good. consistent 2-man game, it'll unlock our offense imo. I think Jaylen's best role on this team is as a finisher/occasional iso guy. But we need to stop expecting him to be a ballhander and a playmaker who can consistently create for others. That's just not who he is and the more we force that role on him, the worse off we'll be.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I thought Joe was only going to play his starters a little bit?

I doubt any of the main 6 play tomorrow. Might as well play them a lot tonight and get good experience together. They clearly are going to need quite a bit of time to get used to playing with each other.
While that makes total sense, I can't help but wonder whether Joe changed his mind mid-game. He's also got to integrate some bench guys to fill out their rotation. I'm not so sure that Hauser and Luke are the best fit with this group. Playing the reserve guys all together doesn't make much sense - unless Joe has his heart set on managing this team like he did the 2nd half of last season.

These transition buckets from Jaylen are what I want from him on this team.  He's one of the most unstoppable transition threats in the league, and we have the defense to spring him loose several times a game.  He can put up points without having to dominate the ball in the half-court very much.

Loving Holidy's defense.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Brisett checking back in. Would like to see some of the other new bench players.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

This. I'm hoping that Holiday can help get the ball in his hands more in transition. Jaylen is devastating when he gets out on the break and they get him the ball.

JB with a nice little burst before the starters come out....

I want to see Gabriel and Banton now, but probably won't see either today.

Agree!!!

One of the main things I really loved about JB early in his career was his aggression attacking the basket.  His aggressiveness attacking the basket and getting to the foul line complimented really nicely with Tatum's more jumper-heavy style of offence.  Over the past few years Brown has become much more jumper heavy and I'm not a fan of that style of play for him.

He is the 2nd most talented. More talented than Jaylen.

Not the most dependable though so I am unsure about best (performer?). I prefer talented.

Fun explosion from JB in that quarter.

I liked the last possession by Pritchard.  Beat his man to the left, nice pass out to an open Hauser, just bricked the shot.  If Pritchard can generate offense like that, it would help us a lot.

Interested to see what the deep bench guys do in the fourth.

Kornet continues to be terrible. Can’t handle passes.
Not a good defender.
