A few years back, I assumed we would see a few Doncic vs Tatum finals. Let the fun begin!  One more for each most likely.

Minny have done well to keep it to 8 given how badly they have played in the first half. They are within close distance. Need to find something that will work for them on offense though.

Towns now 2-10 for 5pts 4reb 3ast.
Ant 4-11 FGA for 12pts 6reb 5ast.

Again, they are a combined 6-21 FGA (26% FG%). The rest of the team is 14-23 FGA (61% FG%).

Feels a bit mean to include Ant in that. He isn't shooting that bad. Just a little bad. Towns is the one stinking up the joint.

Town’s channeling his inner Embiid

This game still has a half to go. Mavs could have put them away - at least more so than it ended up. Minny looks spent, but they could rally - back against the wall.

I’m not sure which team I’d prefer to play if the Cs get past Indy. Minny looks worn down. Luka and Kyrie are a tough combo. And I really like Lively. Hope he’s ok - I think he’d do some damage v. Boston.

The key is making luka work on the defensive end.

How is Draymond still even on the TNT show? After all of his unprofessional comments about Gobert due to his jealousy, it's a joke that they're still letting him cover this series.

Would love to “wipe” the floor with Kyrie and watch us dismantle them. But wow, Brown/Tatum vs Luka/ Cryie would be epic. Like almost Celtics Lakers 80’s epic potentially

I was watching a couple of early Jordan games over the last few days. A couple of his rookie games. And one from 1989 the year before Phil Jackson took over. When Doug Collins was still the coach.

This game does remind me of that Bulls offense. It is amazing the comparison of MJ under Collins to MJ under Phil Jackson.

Phil's Triangle did an excellent job of getting MJ the ball in optimal positions for him to attack and to attack closer to the basket with proper spacing around him.

Collins' offense is more similar to this Minnesota one with Jordan often starting his attack 25+ feet out from the basket with all 5 defenders between Jordan and the hoop. All setup with the focus of stopping him. Jordan always starting in a sub-optimal position. Always struggling to bring the team with him because he had to do so much on his own.

Same thing with Shaq under Brian Hill in Orlando or Del Harris in Los Angeles to Shaq under Phil Jackson in LAL. Phil did an excellent job optimizing those guys.

people forget we coulda easily dropped a couple games to durant and kyrie 2 years back.

i can easilyu see those clutch mavs shooters beating us a couple times down the stretch and stealing a couple wins.

I would guess Lively will be out for several days after that hit.

I'll give ESPN credit for getting Reddick and CP3 as analysts. Those two are great.

Not sure at all what TNT was thinking with Draymond...
