I saw that Ja Morant's suspension is almost over. He will be back after 2 more games.

Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey has agreed on a contract extension through the 2027-2028 season, sources tell ESPN. The Sixers have a .653 winning percentage in his three seasons on the job.

The two biggest moves he's made was trading for Harden, and trading away Harden.

Buts he also drafted Maxey which is a home run, and swapping Doc for Nurse looks good so far.

Ultimately he inherited a team with a top 5 player and a highly valuable asset and has not been able to get them further than the second round. Maxey was a win, but the rest of it is really meh.

I had an end-of-year-review at work once where I got credit for solving a problem I created lol.

Getting rid of Simmons was an accomplishment in itself, possibly even bigger than either Harden trade (yes he was part of the first one, but the addition by subtraction was arguably bigger than the addition part)
I'm bitter.

It may also be a move to keep Embiid too since I am assuming they have already built a relationship and is less of a wildcard than if they were to bring somebody new.

Miami should inquire, not sure they have the pieces assuming the Jazz wouldn't have interest in Herro although Danny did want to draft him. But Markennan would make a ton of sense next to Bam.

Yeah, I completely agree! Sounds like a win for both teams.

So Garland has a broken jaw, out at least a couple of weeks and Mobley just had surgery on his knee out 6 to 8 weeks.  Looks like the Cavs aren't going to be a real threat this year.  Could still make the play-in, but they had higher hopes.  Do they make Mitchell available is the intriguing thing at this point?

Trading Simmons and actually getting value for him was his biggest move.
