Pacers would try to run the bucks to death.

The Play-In Tournament in the East is set for Wednesday night on @espn:

7 PM ET: Heat at Philly
9:30 PM ET: Atlanta at Chicago

Wait, they're doing each conference on a single night? Have they always done it like this? I thought they usually did the 7/8 game for both conferences first, and then the 9/10 game the following night with the final games on Friday night of that week?

Yeah, that's what they did last year.

I thought the same. Maybe it's because the West has later start times today? And due to arena scheduling and/or time zones? Idk

I don’t see any way the Knicks can handle
Embiid.

DeRozan is an awesome player. Easy to root for too.

That's clearly out on Brunson, though I don't think Chicago had any timeouts left to challenge.

Good luck Milwaukee with a gimpy Giannis vs the pacers.

Indy should wreck them. No way Milwaukee can defend Indiana.

So most likely

Knicks

All on the other side of the bracket

Not going to be surprised at all to see the bucks and Knicks out in round one.

Will be funny watching all the narratives of the Knicks get washed away by a series loss to Philly.

Not sure you're happy or not if you're a Bucks fan. Indy is not a good matchup for you either. Time to put some money on Indy!

I'd probably still pick MIL to beat IND in 6 or 7 games, but it'll be very close. I wouldn't be surprised if IND beat them though, and Giannis may not be 100% either even if he plays.

I am confident though that PHI would beat NY in a series, maybe even in 5 games (or 6)

Would have been nice to avoid PHI/MIA in the first round, and there could still be a slight chance if CHI/ATL upset someone, but whatever. Might not be a bad thing. Just like 2022, play a tough team first round (that Nets team with KD, Kyrie and others trending well) and it could prepare you well for the rest of the way if you lock in and focus.
