I'll miss him and hope he does well in Portland. You have to trade something to get something. Jure is a big up grade. I think Wenyen Gabriel can come in and be a bargain bin TIMELORD. Gabriel is a hustle guy and block some shots.  He's not near TIMELORD at full health but he provides energy and hustle.

I agree 100%.  It is hard seeing Timelord traded.

I always struggled with Timelord. I liked him but his injuries and constant fears of when will get hurt next was a killer. I am happy they traded him. He was undependable due to his injury-proneness.

That is fair.  He was injured a lot.

I guess for me he was such a def game changer, and exciting to watch.  His play elevated the team and could really get the fans going.   He wasn’t perfect but he did improve a lot while he was here.  All reports say he was a good teammate and one of the overall good guys.

Rob was my favorite player on the team.  I'll miss him as a Celtic but follow him in Portland.

I hope Portland trades him. He deserves to be on a better team than that. And him and Ayton cannot play together so his playing time will be limited there.

I hope Timelord finds a better home than Portland.

Same here. I hope he makes it back to the Celtics at some point.  :-\

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

That's an exciting young team.

I loved Rob.  I was looking forward to the return of a two-big lineup, along with his new jumper.

I won't miss holding my breath that he was going to get hurt every time he stepped on the floor.

Yep, was a big fan. In my head I can easily understand why we got rid of him - he is a walking injury, and he didn't quite recapture his form last season that he had shown in '21-'22.

But when he is healthy and playing, he is a complete game changer. Portland have an incredibly athletic group now, should be lots of fun to watch them.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)

PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I’m for one, is glad he’s gone..never been a fan of his & I see no improvement..but hopefully he has a good career in Portland or wherever he goes..still mad they didn’t pick Mitchell Robinson, who I wanted at that pick
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I doubt anybody will treat him with the care Boston did .   First Knick s type team he lands on ,his career will be over .  He has to be handled very gentle to last.

plenty of teams like that, and like their lookalikes, none will surpass 25 wins and will be playing ping pong ball next season.

I have seen so many people say this. I am absolutely mystified by why people think Idiot Joe was going to go with a two big lineup. So much discussion of DW going to the bench as if Joe really is going to go with a two big lineup. Please somebody explain to me where this expectation came from. It's like everyone got caught up in roster moves and hiring assistant coaches that they forgot that the biggest problem with the Celtics can be summed up in to initials. The 1st initial is Joe and the second initial is Mazulla.
