In a spot start, Miller Moss had a better game for USC than Caleb Williams did all season. Against Louisville, a team that FSU beat in the ACC conference championship.

Unfortunately now a days these games have little connection to the real season cause a third of the team opt out or enter transfer portal. I don’t even know if miller moss is likely to get the the job next fall.

Frankly it's hard to see non-playoff bowl games as anything more than an exhibition nowadays.  Transfers and opt-outs have kinda killed bowl season except for the top four teams. 

Don't think there's anything at all to take from this game.  Certainly not anything to fire a coach over.

Sure, but 3 straight losses to Michigan is also there.  He chased McCord away because he wasn't good enough and then this happens. And frankly, Stroud looked mediocre at Ohio State for much of his time and then has one of the greatest statistical seasons a rookie QB has ever had in the NFL.  I was imly half joking with my buddies that Day should be fired at halftime and then the 2nd half happens.  Just an awful game to watch and a horrid coaching job.

He certainly has no ability to look internally.  He felt his losses to Michigan were because of sign-stealing (nevermind that OSU had Michigan’s signs also), and then, when they lost again, he decided to blame his quarterback, even though it’s totally unclear that they have a better option for next year.

Nothing’s going to happen to him this offseason, but if he finds an opportunity in the NFL he should sprint towards it, because he’s starting next year on the hot seat, although he has way too much of an ego to realize it.

Unfortunately for this year the bowl games have absolutely no meaning. I mean Boston college beat smu. At least next year there will be a lot more games that matter. I’m penn state alum but not even sure I’m watching us tomorrow cause it is two half teams playing each other

TCU is definitely better than Boston College imo they had a tougher schedule and were in a better conference.

TCU lost to Colorado. Their only conference wins were BYU, Houston, and Baylor. You know 6 combined wins in the conference (includes games against each other and 2 wins against Cinci).  In other words TCU is really bad and yet they beat SMU.

Florida State has 20 or so opt outs, so this game has no bearing on my opinion.
