Germany should just add the Patriots to a "banned from country" list and revoke them from coming next week

Honestly, reading some comments, I’d think this was a Lakers or Yankee’s forum.

Bill Belichick has won 6 super bowls for the Patriots. If you asked a Pats fan in the 90’s they would die happy for one.

Belichick has 8 Super Bowl rings in his career. When Brady went down in first game of the 2008 season, with Matt Cassel the Patriots went 11 - 5, tied first in the AFC east and missing the playoffs due to a tiebreaker.

After the deflategate fiasco, the team went 3–1 with backup quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacob Brissett during Brady's suspension.

Belichick found & developed Brady, giving him the opportunity that no one else would have. Go back and watch the early 00’s Patriots teams, Brady wasn’t the star of the show. It was Belichick and his defensive stars.

After Drew Bledsoe returned from his injury in 2001 everyone else would have put Bledsoe back as the starting quarterback, especially because the organization recently paid him a $103 million contract.

IMO, Belichick’s biggest issue is the pilfering of his staff from other franchises and the NFL making defence much less effective and quarterbacks untouchable.

Will Belichick need to be replaced in the future? Of course, he’s 71 going on 72. But there’s no need to hate on the man that turned the Patriots into the third most valuable sports team in the world.

Nobody is doubting his accomplishments. We can be thankful for what he's done and respect his great career, and also recognize that it's time for him to hang it up. Both can be true. His time has come and gone, this franchise is in a downward spiral right now and I don't see him in touch enough with the current state of the NFL to turn this around.

He's also clearly lost the locker room since last year. The whole Patricia/Judge fiasco. No playoffs last year and not this year either. His methods are outdated for this newer generation.

And have you seen some of the postgame shenanigans being reported from Twitter? JC Jackson and Jack Jones were benched early today and they both didn't talk after this game. Both left the building. And check out Jack Jones' twitter page and what he recently liked. The guy would rather be in jail right now than with this team. Yikes.

Also some closed door meetings and such happening. Makes sense. They are now 2-7. Wonder how Kraft has to feel. I think fans will soon stop going to games too. No way Gillette will be more than 70% filled after today for the rest of this season. Gonna be half empty, sort of like it was last year after November

Small sample size Ed. He remains the best coach ever as far as I’m concerned. But I’d be ok if they moved on.

Belichick has had washed up Cam Newton & Mac Jones since Brady left. In my opinion, he needs an all pro quarterback to compete again.

Given Josh McDaniels has been fired from the Raiders, he will hopefully return as the Patriots offensive coordinator & QB coach.

Yeah, Mac is not a good QB and it is looking more and more like the guys putting him in the running for worst starting QB at the start of the year were not wrong.  That said, the entire offense is bad across the board.  A better QB and there are more wins, but this is not a playoff caliber roster.  The defense is pretty good though so a total gut job isn't needed, just need to start over offensively.

I think it’s really hard to evaluate Mac under these circumstances. Put him on the Niners or the Eagles with those O-lines and weapons? I imagine he would do well. Speaking of under performing QB’s, my opponent in Fantasy had Lamar Jackson. 187 passing yards, 60 rushing yards and a fumble for 11.48pts. Not exactly lighting the world on fire… I mean, Mac outscored him this week.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Sure but it was also a 37-3 win against a division leader vs  losing to a bad team at home. I know which one I'd take.

Right, because he plays on a team that isn’t a dumpster fire. Ravens have decent talent.

Bill really hasn’t been any good without Tom. He wasn’t good before him, hasn’t been good after. It’s been years now. I don’t know how he can be considered the greatest of all time at this point.

If he had retired when Tom left, all would have been great for his legacy. Instead he wanted to prove that he can win without him, and it backfired.

His coaching tree has been pretty unsuccessful, as well. Take that for whatever it's worth.

Was Brady Brady in the early years?
