The Grant trade created a traded player exception (TPE) worth $6.2 million. Assuming ownership allows Brad to use it… I’d like the C’s go after Jalen Smith or Jordan Nwora. Any others?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Can we get Mike Muscala back?

I liked him as our 4th big.

Man, Chris Boucher makes $10-12mil. Too rich for our TPE. Thad Young makes $8mil. Oh well. I was hoping one of TOR's extra forwards could be had for our TPE.

Cole Anthony might be available and makes 3.91m, but you might as well deal Pritchard for him if you're acquiring another smaller guard. Or, you could deal Pritchard for something, then trade for Anthony into your TPE if the Magic don't want salary back. I like Cole as a backup PG.

Unfortunately, Obi Toppin makes 5.5 and was only dealt for two seconds to Indiana recently. I don't know how great he is on defense, but he at least would have filled our need at PF and has some upside. Oh well.

I like Isaiah Stewart but there was that report the Pistons didn't want to deal him. I'm not sure about Hayes, is he ever going to learn how to shoot?

Otto Porter had a bad year in Toronto after a good one in GS. He makes 6.15m and might be gettable.

I think if the TPE is used, we’ll use it at the draft.  We’re going to hard cap ourselves with the MLE later this week, which means we can use the TPE until next offseason.  The draft is the most likely time.

Don’t think it will be used and by chance it is it won’t be deep into the season.

Brad seems to think this collection of bench players can get the job done

I don't think they'll use it unless they dump further salary.  The Celts seemingly have no interest in going above the 2nd apron.

Wow, that would be great. I'd love Otto Porter. He killed us in the Finals. I thought signing Gallinari and later Muscala was a response to how much O Porter killed us in the Finals.

I am shocked he doesn't earn more money.

He fits in with KP, Brogdon and Timelord then, haha.

God no. He was a statue. I only kind of remember a couple games that he actually hit some 3's. Waste.

Otto Porter is ALWAYS hurt.

I did not realize how much he was out injured these last few years. I knew he was out all last season. But he had a healthy year the year before in GS (63gms + playoffs) which is what stands out in my memory. But the two years before that 28 games and 56 games.

Man, he was always healthy early in his career. Almost 80 games a season for 4 straight years after missing time as a rookie.

I'd risk it. Not sure he is any less of an injury risk than Rob Williams, Brogdon or Porzingis. At least it is another body who may be healthy.

He’s only cracked 30 games once in the last four seasons.  He’s in a different class.
