Indy expert (who can analyze among the best) Caitlin Cooper says he lacks elevation off one foot, is a poor finisher, hustles, best on cuts from wing, if his shot is not falling not room to grow as a player.  3 all over the place, very inconsistent, partly due to inconsistent playing time.  Why single game plus/minus is an absurd stat, don't read into it.  He has high motor/energy.  Plus 17 in 18 minutes, but 0/8 from field, TJ McConnell happened to play well at the same time!! Defensively, his strength is off ball, sliding in an out from 3 point line. Lacks core strength to defend 4s.

My expectations for this guy are pretty tempered by this report.

And Brad strikes again signing guys for the bench that cannot contribute whatsoever. This guy is just more of the same. J's going to be playing heavy minutes once again.

I think he will bring different things to the table than Hauser.    He will be better than Champagnie.   Brad has real good connections than Indy, I trust him more than the expert.

Is he a world beater, heck no.    Can He  contribute. I think so.

So he can get up some,

LOL you're beefing with wrong expert when it comes to Indy player evaluations. Have you not heard of her?

I was demonstrating he can get up on dunks and some of those were one legged dunks.    This is obvious when you watch tape or games of him

Most of the experts out there, need to be taken with a grain of salt.  I certainly not an expert, but I can spot when one is wrong all too easily like in this case.    I also think Brad Stevens is a bigger expert than her and trust him.

Did he get up in the videos I posted?

Here is some data of his athletic ability from tests

Brissett also tied for the highest standing vertical leap among forwards that participated at the event, jumping 34 inches. That was tied with Gonzaga's Brandon Clarke at the position.  Clark is a known leaper

https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/college/2019/05/21/oshae-brissett-nba-draft-syracuse-basketball-announce-decision-twitter-combine-mock/3761412002/

The highest “no-step” or standing vertical measured since 1998 was completed by Nick Young in 2007, his jump was 39.5”.

Some past leapers:

Dwayne Wade comes in at 31.5” & 35” in the no step & max
Blake Griffin measured at 32” & 35.5” (no step & max)
Carmello Anthony jumped 30.5” & 33.5” (no step & max)
    Derrick Rose = 34.5” & 40” (no step & max)
    Russell Westbrook = 30” & 36.5” (no step & max)

His no step vert was 34"and his  max vertical was 37.5″  Better than Wade, Blake and Westbrook but this guy can't jump?

This site is really neat to check out athletic profiles in the NBA.   His is interesting.
