At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Wemby vs Holmgren? That would be fun…

Chet Holmgret to play at Summer League?

Rylan Stiles: Sam Presti said “it’s our hope that [Chet Holmgren] will be out there [at summer league]” adds Chet is doing great. – via Twitter Rylan_Stiles

I'd like to see how Chet looks after a year off

Yep. Few more listed as well.

According to a league source, the Celtics summer squad is expected to include 7-foot-1-inch Polish center Aleksander Balcerowski, who averaged 9.2 points and 3.4 rebounds for Gran Canaria last season in Liga ACB, Spain’s top pro division. Boston has been keeping tabs on Balcerowski for several years and tried to add him to their summer squad last season. – via Boston Globe

Forward Jordan Walsh, who was selected with the 38th pick of Thursday’s draft, will also be on the squad, along with Celtics 2022 second-round pick JD Davison, Celtics guard Justin Champagnie, and Maine Celtics guard Kamar Baldwin, with a few other spots potentially to be filled in this week. – via Boston Globe

Aleksander Balcerowski is slow and a little clunky but really big.

According to this Globe article, old friend Jay Scrubb is going to be playing for the Celtics summer league team.

My memory is that the Celtics worked him out a couple of times but didn't draft him.

From Celtics Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/bostonceltics/comments/14ixwlk/boston_globe_center_aleksander_balcerowski_guard/

As a Pole, I am very happy that Balcerowski will be in a squad. He is a tall, but slim center who moves quickly, runs to the rim and is not afraid to fire up 3, although shooting is still a work in progress. Two years ago he was named Euro Cup Rising Star and it seemed that he might have a chance to go at the end of the second round of the 2022 draft. He specifically went on loan to Serbian Mega, which "produces" centers for the NBA, but had a disappointing season there. Now he's back in Gran Canaria and has shown a big improvement. He became a EuroCup Rising Star for the second time, and his team won the entire tournament. Now there is talk that both Barcelona and Real Madrid want him (he would replace Poirier there). Olek (as he is called in Poland) is also a key player for our national team. Last year we were 4th in Eurobasket, beating

Sean Paul: After today’s workout, Eugene German has committed to play Summer League with the Boston Celtics, he tells me. Averaged 24.5 points, five assists in the CBA. He played against numerous former NBA players like Jared Sullinger, Marshon Brooks, Jordan Crawford & Tacko Fall. – via Twitter
