Adama Sanogo! I was going to add this to the Draft Post, but I'd like to hear others Sleeper Pick.
I lived my live in CT up until 2 years ago. I actually still have an office there. I watched Sangogo play a lot, he is a difference maker. I actually love his Game! He reminds me of Zion "Lite". I know everyone says late 2nd rounder, but Man, this is a kid I Would LOVE in the 2nd round. I also think he fits the Celtics well. He is a force inside, yes I believe that will carry over to the NBA game. There you have it, Mark Me Down!! Sanogo will be a Very good NBA player!!
MY 2023 NBA Draft Sleeper pick.

I’m worried that he’s a strong “tweener” like Grant Williams that was able to excel at the inside game in college due to being physically stronger and more athletic than the competition.

Grant had to develop an outside game because he constantly gets blocked inside. Adama is more athletic than Grant, but Grant had similar collegiate stats and had to adapt his game to succeed in the NBA.

In the NCAA tournament Adama put up a couple of 3s and his form looked good, but he was wide open. If he can develop an outside shot he can probably have a career like Grant’s so far. That’s not a bad result picking in the 2nd round. I would be happy with that. If his inside game translates and he is a Zion-lite, then he’s a steal.

Definitely an intriguing player either way but I understand why he’s not rated higher.

My sleeper pick was Dillion Mitchell, but he’s returning to Texas for another season. He could be Jaylen Brown or Kedrick Brown. Is he struggling because he’s playing out of position or is he all athleticism and potential without the skill to make it in the NBA?

Julian Strawther is my sleeper pick. I like the poise he plays with and he can get his shot off. Just a really pretty 3 point shot and a lovely floater. He may not even be drafted but I'd take him with our early second round pick. This would be a good draft to buy an additional second rounder in.

Sangogo has some skills and seems to play with a high motor. We could do worse.

Bleacher Report MD has James Nnaji taken one pick ahead of 35.  Seems like a good  investment who may be available.

If Brad finds someone he likes as late 1st rounder, could see him offering 35 and PP to move up a few spots and get him.

He has nice floater game, something we don't currently have besides White and Smart.

I thought the same thing and posted in the 2023 NBA draft thread, but someone else pointed out that his defense is limited due to lack of size inside, but more importantly lack of lateral movement. I believe that’s why he’s a projected second rounder. All the highlights I see just show offense. Since you’ve seen him a lot what can you say about his ability to defend at the 4?

That is why I call him Zion-Lite. He uses his body really well on defense. In last year's NCAA run, he was usually the best player on the floor. Uconn suffered when he was on the bench. They also won the NCAA championship with Sangogo as their force inside. To me that says a lot about his defense. I really like him and I don't say that often.

Yeah, he's a highly skilled two way player. Kind of an old man game. He has great range on that 3pt shot as well. This video shows more of the weaknesses:

This one also mentions Grant Nelson and Strawther...

A couple of MDs including Givony at ESPN have Celtics taking Tristan Vukcevic at 35.  Anyone familiar with him? Seems like a stretch 5.

Hard to have much of an opinion on him with his lack of constant playing time or FIBA exposure. He shot the lights out and created buzz for himself in the combine scrimmage. He is about an inche tall and with a slightly longer wing span then Muscala with what I see as a very similar game. Defensively he will likely struggle though he seems like a fluid athlete for a true 7' and has the length and verticality to protect the rim. His role will likely be that of a floor spacing 5.

20 years ago he probably would be a lottery or near lottery pick given that eras willingness to gamble trying to find the next Dirk.

As for the Celtics I wouldn't hate the pick but I would expect him to be a stash pick. BS has shown a fondness for 3pt shooting 7's with Kornet and Muscala on the bench so I could see him liking Vukcevic. I personally have him ranked in the low 30s on my board.

I would hope that he is only drafted after Lively, Miller, Jackson-Davis, and fellow stash candidate Nnaji where all off the board. I would also be torn on taking him over Gueye but that comes down to translatable skills and prospect floor. I would trust Vukcevic's shot to translate more than Gueye's higher ceiling physical tools.

Jaquez (sp?) from UCLA. I think he will be one of the top 8 players in this draft, but will likely be taken in the 20s.

Azuolas Tubelis.
He would be a strong, quick and skilled SF even if he's assigned as PF.
