Joe's revolutionary "shoot contested threes instead of layups" offense is on pace for 82 points.

Barkley just said the same thing and called them dumb a$$e$

Chuck on point. Stop jacking up threes! There’s no ball movement and body movement

No ball movement = Bad coach and bad /no PG and not running through your superstar who passes better than Smart

6 man rotation from here on out. Starters and RWill.
I agree with that 👍

I'd still like to see Hauser. I think he'd be great in this series. A zone breaker. A shot maker. Someone who can put up points. Good size matchup wise for MIA's wing orientated team.

The dumb turnovers and losing guys in transition leading to easy Heat buckets.

Al/Rob has to stop dropping on high PnR leading to open 3s.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Embarrassing performance. The Heat came out struggling and we didn't take advantage of it. We knew they would settle in and they are just knocking down all of their 3s again.

Outside of a couple open 3s, I am not even that upset about the effort. They just are mentally too weak and the whole team didn't show up tonight. Tatum is honestly the least of our problems right now.

4-21 on threes

13 - 23 on twos

But, yes, let's continue to just jack up poor threes. Such an awesome philosophy we have. Not like we won the last game without needing a ton of threes, but just keep jacking them, guys. Particularly the iso, pull up ones.

Well all I can say is an 11 point lead isn't much in the NBA. The beginning of the 3rd will tell us how this game will go..

Need a big second half for Tatum.

Idk if it’s the ankle but Tatum was really pedestrian that half

I wouldn’t mind giving Hauser some minutes. Malcolm obviously isn’t ready to play.

Serious question:  if Joe was trying to tank this game without making it completely obvious, what would he have done differently that half?

We keep saying that but at this point I think Mazz already has a strict 6 or 7 man rotation
