Now chuck taking Miami in game 7...

2 games ago he said game 6 is the series

oddly, he ended his rant by picking the C’s in game seven. he’s correctly abusing the C’s for another putrid half of basketball, though. like many of us, chuck finds this team to be an enigma.

The last couple of years this Celtics teams has provided seemingly a lifetime of thrilling playoff moments and series:

The good:
Game 1 vs Brooklyn last year
Down 3-2 vs Bucks last year, comeback
Down 3-2 vs Philly this year, comeback
Down 3-0 vs Miami, and now still alive for a Game 7

The bad:
Game 3 vs Milwaukee in '22. Al's putback called off.
Game 5 vs Atlanta this year, Trae Young's 3 to win
Game 4 vs Philly. Harden's 3 then Smart's 3 called off.

The lucky and ugly:
Game 7 vs Miami last year with Butler's missed 3
Game 6 vs Miami right now, with White's miracle tip in

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

That foul by Al.....

I felt Butler was going to miss the shot.

but if he makes it, we have, what, 1 second left at most?

Did Al's terrible foul save our season?

I love how everyone in the stadium thought it wasn't good. Everybody except White and the ref who called it. A taste of despair. Let's go Celtics! Put them down on Monday

So now that I’ve taken a moment, except for the last shot, the last 4 minutes were pretty awful. If Robinson hits either of those wide open 3’s, the season is over. Why do they have to make it so hard? You can’t milk the clock with 4 minutes to go. Jeez, learn that already

Blow them out Monday

I can’t imagine we’ll be that cold from 3 again, at home too

Strangest game ever. We couldn’t hit the side of a barn from 3. Bam and Butler were awful. Martin, Robinson and Struss hit everything they shot. A coach’s challenge may have turned a 2 into a 3. Maz made a good time out call. None of these things will happen again in game 7.

I’m just curious what oddities will replace them.

The last 5 or so years have had plenty. Some infamous moments include OG's corner 3, and Middleton's 30 foot dagger

I'm at my parents' house watching this game, and we just went berserk for about ten minutes watching that. My God.

But, holy cow, that's so concerning how we choke this stuff away. Joe and the guys both really crapped the bed. JB and Smart missing free throws, Al with stupid fouls, Joe sitting on his hands letting that run kill us and making no effort to adjust things, etc.

Very true

Same thing last year’s Game 7. Blew a 13 point lead in 3 minutes. Imagine if Butler hit that 3 late. Even today we lucked out Robinson bricked some open 3s. Miami went on a 14-4 run before White made the game winner

If you don’t count the game winner, Cs choked. But they made the game winner.  I thought they’d lose a close game. They didn’t.  If they take G7 this win will be a learning experience.  Needed to win a close one and they finally did.

Look, I love Tatum. But they have GOT TO STOP letting him initiate offense late. He slows it waaaaay down, the c's don't even get into an action until there's 7 seconds left on the shot clock.

Have your PG's play PG. Doesn't mean he can't take a lot of shots or touch the ball every possesion, but not to start.

We choked, and then Derrick White came in with the Heimlich.
