This team already gave up. You don't come back from something like that, particularly given the handicap we have in the coaching and preparation department.

As much as it pains me to say this, the Lakers have a substantially better chance of doing this than us. There's probably less than a 10% chance we even win game four. This team has clearly quit on this coach and this season.

When was the last time both JT and JB played well in a playoff game? Looks like there are many games where either one of them, or both, play ugly.

Yep.  The Celtics lost this one, but it says something that they're now 3-14 in the last 17 playoff games Brothers has been on, and 57-44 in the playoff games without Brothers.  It's statistically significant -- I did the math.  The Celtics were on the ropes entering the game, and Brothers delivered the knockout blow in the first quarter.

Yep. Couldn't ask for any better circumstance (injury / suspensions aside for a team to become the 1st team ever to make a comeback from an 0-3 deficit.

Today, they couldn't even get themselves up to play game 3 nevermind out-work Miami for 4 straight so I have no optimism left. Still, somebody will be the first to do this someday and, as correctly pointed out, this Boston given their talent advantage over Miami is the best positioned team to do so in a long time. Perhaps ever.

If the Celtics show up and play well, they win. That simple. There is nothing Miami can do when Boston play well. The Heat are not good enough to beat Boston when Boston show up and play well.

Miami can only win when Boston plays badly.

PP34 and KG could. They almost tied the series 3-3 coming back up from 0-3 against the Knicks in 2013. They were just outta gas and lack of depth.

I'd be a lot happier losing the series 2-4 than 0-4, but I'd rather watch them sink Miami in 7.
