Wow, what a strange half of basketball.

I can't believe Miami is ahead. If JB hadn't of played, BOS would be up 15+pts now. JB almost single handedly gave Miami the lead. Rare to see a player THAT badly.

And yet he’s gonna get paid in the offseason.

The Heat are outrebounding us, and we've got more turnovers.  That's a bad combination.

Cool. We play better down at the half.

Yup. I’ll take the close game at the half instead of a big lead for us at the half. I hope C’s come out strong in the 3rd. No way but to go up for JB and Smart!

  • GOT IT!!!
I don't have much desire to watch this team if Mazzulla is back next year. The fact that Stevens extended a green coach that won the the lottery is baffling. The J's will starting to enter their prime yet now we gotta watch a guy learn on the job against a new parity NBA is dumb.

Watching the C's since the early 80s, I've NEVER watched a more frustrating team.  All the talent in the world yet the most self inflicted play

And it's not even selfishness or lack of effort, it's stupidity

I was thinking JB had money on the game, except it wasn't for Boston.

This half might be this team's last stand. I do not see how you can return this line up and coach if the Cs do not get this game tonight.

I feel good about the 2nd half.

JB can't play that badly again and we destroyed Miami except for JB's bad play.

Stan made a good point…with these 2 for ones one team has 2 bad shots and the other has one good shot and he was right on the money

This is not rocket science.

Well, it's all contextual. The 2 for 1 at the end of the first quarter was good, because JT was able to get to his spot without rushing a bad shot. That's a two for one I'm fine with, even if he would've missed it.

The last one was absolutely rushed with him just running down and chucking it up for the sake of it. Those are almost never appropriate shots. He never learns.

Basically the storyline of every Celtic loss.

We got a lineup that gave us a big lead and played with tons of energy. Then came Smart and JB.

I want that lineup back. We need to treat this game like game 7.

Zeller Love Bam and Butler just manhandling the Celtics on rebounds right now. So pathetic. This teams a joke.

The Celtics definitely don't have a homecourt advantage anymore lol. They look so ordinary at TD Garden nowadays. It's either a big blowout win like Games 1 + 2 against ATL and Games 2 + 7 against PHI, but otherwise it's usually losses or coming out flat the whole game. Crazy

Correct me if I’mwrong but in these playoffs, aren’t the C’s 3-5 at home and then 5-1 on the road?

We're 4-4 at home.

Meanwhile, Denver Miami and LA are a combined 19-0 at home lol
