Interesting that Mazulla mentioned the amount of 3-point attempts Miami took in the timeout huddle. I think both Spo and he know that the only chance the Heat have to win games is to be flamethrowers from three.

So far, Lowry and Vincent's shooting has allowed them to roughly keep up, but the C's are up 9 and look to have a much more repeatable offense (better looks, way more paint scoring).

This is the first time all season I've seen champion-like runs from the Celtics where they feel inevitable. Like others have said, some boneheaded plays in the last two minutes made it 9 instead of 15, but that 4-5 minute run the Celtics had right before felt like dominance, not just hot shooting.

As good as Timelord has been, we're actually -5 with him on the floor.  Interesting.

Some Heat reporters have said this online, but ironically it seems the C's have figured out the best way to beat the zone. DRIVE TO THE BASKET. Miami doesn't have the personnel to stop them, especially outside of Bam. Love and Zeller are awful on that end.

And unlike the Bubble with Kanter/Theis (ugh), we have the personnel to attack them better and disrupt their zone.

If we'd made some open 3's while he was out there he'd be well into the + range

Tatum really is in that rarefied air of TRUE two-way superstars that plays just as hard on defense as he does on offense. Right up there with GIannis, Kawhi, and Butler for his two-way impact and energy.
Tatum, Giannis and Kawhi are all a step above Butler

Was he on the floor when Lowry went nuclear?

Celtics have been fun to watch of late.
When they come out with energy on defense and push the ball on offense, they are a different team.

JB is trying really hard to lose us this game.
….the guy is a walking turnover

Except he’s scored 11 on 50% shooting, has 5 boards and is +11.  And 2 turnovers.

Agreed. I was meaning more the comprehensive effort on both ends of the court.

Yeah, I think it's harsh - he just had a particularly standout turnover given it immediately led to him getting scored on

Can we have a repeat of Game 7 last round. A big run to start the 3rd? A man can dream  :)

Only 13 three's attempted by the Celts so far, which is great, but I know exactly what Joe is telling them at halftime.
Maybe the players are learning to ignore him when he tells them the wrong thing.
