By no means am I suggesting he's in 2017-2018 form but in light of how Horford gave a fabulous goose egg last night and our bigs were kind of atrocious, Perhaps , just maybe we should let Blake in just to see what happens. Am I missing something? Throughout the regular season he put in some decent work the times he was allowed to play. Help me out guys, what scouting report did I miss which has folks like Griffin, Kemba walker etc on the "Scrub" list as if they have absolutely NO GAS left in the tank. In the offseason when we picked up Brogdan and Griffin I was like "Hell yeah". Of course Brogdan is that dude and I want him to stay in green under all costs but No Blake usage?

The rotation is too tight. We have a very deep team but Joe isn't using it. More guys should've played vs Atlanta and more guys should be playing against the 6ers. Al can hit anything and you have Muscala wasting away on the bench. It's not like our mediocre defense will suffer all that much but Mascala can hit those open 3s.

I thought Griffin was injured last game. Something with his back.

He might have been given a quick run otherwise given how badly Horford was playing on offense.

Yeah, we need Al Horford to play well in order to win.  RWill has not been good and there is only so much that Grant or anyone else is going to give you.  We lack depth at PF/C.  Horford is the only one who has played at a starter level.  Even RWill has not done that his season.  We depend on Al.  He has come through a lot.  He didn't last game.

Agreed.  I actually was talking with a coworker today and mentioned that I can recall Kanter giving Embiid some problems a few years ago in the postseason (it may have been in the bubble).  I think different looks can change the dynamic a bit.  Even throwing Kornet in for a couple of minutes just to give Embiid a different look heightwise, followed by a dose of Grant or Al may make sense.

Now that's called coaching!

Doc thinks we should play more guys:

I like Danuel House. I am surprised he hasn't been able to carve out more of a regular role there in Philly. He played nice in Houston. I thought he would be a solid bench player.

Unfortunately, in Philly House has looked more like a just about adequate regular rotation player to a high end 3rd stringer. Still, I'd love to get him in Boston as a 3rd stringer at some point if he were available.

Quote
Instead of turning back to Jalen McDaniels, the Sixers turned to Danuel House Jr. The veteran out of Texas A&M hadn’t played any extensive, real minutes in this postseason, but the 29-year-old stayed ready and when Rivers called his name, he was ready to go.

House played instead of McDaniels.  Totally not the same as having Blake Griffin take some of Horford's minutes.

I know people are frustrated, I am too, but this is grasping at straws.  If Horford is playing badly, we are in trouble.  Griffin or Kornet are not going to save us.
