Getting too upset with Celtics

I’m fairly infuriated right now. And I feel
Stupid because it is a basketball game. Fortunately I only feel really worked up for like 2 hours during something like this. Anyone else have any tips or thoughts on not letting Celtics get you overly upset as a fan?

This is why I said after Game 4 it's not worth my time to stress about this team.

Look at their performance and body language. They are an unserious team. Even in the interviews, they just say the same thing over and over, but repeat the same mistakes every time. I bet you even after this game they'll be like, "oh we just got to play better. Big game coming up" without feeling urgency and not sounding concerned 

If they don't care, or are unserious, why should I be? I've seen enough of this over the years now.

Even last year's Finals run they had these kinds of letdowns and annoying instances. They still made it, but then got beat by a Warriors team they should have beat, but they didn't make adjustments.

It's hard.  It's supposed to be entertainment, and this nonsense isn't entertaining.

It could be worse:  you could have dropped several hundreds of dollars to see this embarrassment in person.

Haven’t watched tonight.

Decided after game 1 that I wasn’t going to watch again till they deserved to be watched. And a one game blowout didn’t do it for me.

Hope I’m watching before Summer League or preseason.

I'm at a loss with this team at this point. 

I expected them to come out and roll tonight.  They did the exact opposite. 

There is no way to read this team.

Actually you can read this team. Soft, bad defense, and if they don’t hit their 3’s very limited on offense. Throw bad coaching and no leadership in there as well. No grit and balls on this team.

Yeah, this group is very reminiscent of the last Brad year. Looks like chicken with their heads cut off out there just chucking threes hoping to make enough to stay in the game.

But it's absolutely all about the coaching and the gameplan. This was virtually the same exact group as last year, yet they were such a lovable bunch that was easy to root for.

Last year 2021 when they were on a slump (before the whole energy thing shifted), people called me crazy that I think these group of guys are just lazy and mentally lacking hence why they were losing and that we should get rid of Brown, Smart, etc.

I don't sound crazy anymore. Repeat issues, and has been since 2018? I miss the Isaiah Thomas Celtics squad.

Obviously, this coach is a detrimental to the team too.

I agree. Somethings amiss with these guys. They seem to crumble when the threes don’t fall. And it just snowballs from there. Maybe Joe doesn’t (or can’t) hold guys accountable? This is the aspect where I miss Ime.

Frustration at these last two losses has got me thinking - maybe the Jays don’t really mesh well? Oh well, on to the next game and hope for the best.
