People crapping on Tatum, but he's putting everything out there right now and since halfway through the second. He's the only reliabel offense out there right now and taking things over.

His efficiency is god awful, hence the problem.

He's 10/20 since the first quarter. Not an all-time performance, but what you need from a star. He's gonna finish around 40/10/5. That's more than enough if the rest of the team even plays average.

hella inefficient, shows up only when he wants, disappears consistently in big games, his defense is crap tonight. no, you need more from a star, if banners are your objective. if it’s junk stats and dorritos commercials, JT is your guy.

He's gets most of the defensive attention and tonight our role players are no-showing. Al's most like 7 wide open 3's, our guard play has been terrible, JB in foul trouble and afraid to drive to the basket because of Embiid. Even if he plays a perfect 1st, we need more from other guys.

And another missed shot and a turnover by our star, Tatum.

Series was lost on the Brown double off Harden to lose game 4. Celtics never recovered.

well this is why you don't want to abandon the def first attitude that got us to the finals last year.
If we are going to live and die with the 3, lots of nights we are going to die.  If we can't play elite def, our bad shooting just kills us.

TP. Exactly this. Joe has completely transitioned to an inferior identity and philosophy, and we're having to live with the results.

Joe Mazzulla is not ready for this stage. Losing Ime Udoka and Will Hardy may be something the Celtics never recover from.

As much justified criticism that Joe is getting now from the national media, I truly don't see how he stays this summer, and that may not be all. There's simply no excuse for this roster to be underachieving so much.

And when they fire Joe, they are going to lose their top assistant (where he belongs), too.

JB hits the 3, cuts the lead to 14.  Immediately Doc Rivers timeout to not let the crowd get back into it.
That is why I would rather have Doc instead of Joe right now.

Look at that, Joe. We make two buckets in a row and Doc calls a timeout.

Idiotic Joe would let a half dozen more possessions go before the thought would even cross his mind.
