Tatum played 43 minutes, while everyone else played 35 or less.

I just hope if they go on a deep run that that doesn't come back to bite them like it sort of did last year in the Finals (potential fatigue/wearing down)
Exactly why they shouldn’t play with their food and finish these guys in 5.

Tatum also played only 19 minutes on Wednesday.

76ers fans in LibertyBallers think they can win 3 straight and end this in 6, and using the Suns' series and 2019 Raptors series as a comparison. That Raptors team had Kawhi, while that 76ers team had Butler. This squad of theirs is far more inferior.

They in for a rude awakening. Hope the Celtics don't beat themselves...go hard in Game 4 and take 'em out.

I’d say 80% of the fans over at Liberty ballers expect the Celtics to win the series. Not sure where you found that opinion you speak of.

Game 4 will be an epic Philly vs Boston clash .  Refs will be on high alert calling picky fouls to keep control.

Those fans are myopic idiots. Boston is not losing three straight...and another one at home.

I'm surprised to see Tatum finished 10/20 from the field... seemed to me like he was off the whole game. Interesting.
Almost all of his misses were threes. Particularly odd with how well Embiid was defending the interior

Missed threes stick in the memory a lot more I think.

More like he had nothing when he went inside vs Embiid.
He went 7-9 from inside the arc and 4-5 from the FT line. That's a pretty brilliant inside game for a wing

Hence why I was surprised, apparently I missed quite a few of those. Was alternating with the Red Sox's game, and recalled Tatum getting stuffed twice and I think some turnovers going vs Embiid, then trying to outdo Embiid from the outside with him practically in his face.  So was surprised to see how well he'd done once the game was finished cause everytime I watched he was doing something poorly.

Yeah, although the refs definitely did that in Game 3 already.

My worry for Game 4 would be Harden/Maxey deciding to figure it out and making things a lot more difficult for the C's. But then again, Harden already looks like he's thinking about his next destination and doesn't seem as engaged out there as Game 1 anymore. Maybe a sign of quit?

The C's haven't played their best either, but who knows, maybe they decide to come out on fire as they smell blood? Sadly it doesn't often happen, but we do own the Sixers. We're just deeper and more talented. I think if we jump out to a big lead early, PHI will fold.

Nice to wake up after stealing back home court advantage and having a 2-1 lead now  ;D

It was admittedly a little rough after Game 1.

Weather's also beautiful out around the Boston area today (70 degrees, sunny, refreshing breezes). Now we can enjoy some of the other games today as well knowing we're up 2-1  :)

I fully expect the C's to win Game 4 and promptly LOSE Game 5 at home...it's what they do.

If the Celtics play with this defensive intensity and limit turnovers, no team is beating them three times in a row.

I understand Philly's hope:  Game 3 was close despite Harden disappearing and Maxey being lousy.  The Celtics have a recent history of lacking focus and intensity.  So, they've got to hope for a better Harden and complacency from Boston.

Anyone thought Doris Burke was extremely upset that Boston won last night?

She was gushing all over Harden sinking the 3. But when Tatum made the silencing dagger, she had nothing to blast about and was just "wow.." lol

Obvious bias is obvious

Speaking of Doris Burke, saw this tweet and it made me laugh out loud

Quote
Joel Embiid: (Hits completely routine midrange fader)

Doris Burke: Amazing. Amazing that a human man could do such a thing. A triumph of the human spirit. It’s the kind of thing you want to see before you die. Wow. Wow.

Mark Jones: And that cuts the Celtics lead to 19

It does feel like there is more anti-Boston sentiment in the commentators in general with this Celtics team over the last 2 years. Not just last night.

I don't why but they don't seem as admired as other teams. Our top players do not seem as admired as top players on other teams. Tatum doesn't get the same treatment as Jimmy Butler or Joel Embiid. Our team doesn't get the same love as other teams.

I don't understand why. This is a really cool team. Lots of good guard play. Good perimeter action. Versatile skilled forwards. Solid big men. Skilled big in Horford. Teamwork. Depth. Defense. Offense. Fun team.
