One thing I don't think enough people are accounting for: We're probably the team the NBA wants to come out of the East. Imagine the ratings of a Celtics/Warriors rematch (last year was the best rated Finals in years) or a Celtics/Lakers matchup?

I think the league would want a long series to try and reignite Boston v Philly as a rivalry, rather than the one-sided pounding it has been for decades
