Wow. Nick Nurse as the replacement?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Wow. Well, he won't be struggling for job offers. I wonder where he'll land. What a terrific opportunity for someone to land a top coach.

Unfortunate. His sibling passed away during the playoff series and he gets canned. But that was expected. #1 seed, made boneheaded calls, and lost to an 8th seed in 5 games.

Hoping the next Woj bomb will be Joe on the firing list lol

The Bucks had the best record in the NBA this year and they won a championship the year before last. Giannis must have wanted him gone.

I think he's a good regular season coach.  It's strange that he usually doesn't seem to have his team ready for the post-season.  It's happened too many times in both Atlanta and Milwaukee to be a fluke.

Could well be the case. The Buck's window for winning is open and going out the way they did was not in their plans. Ownership, I guess, is being proactive.  The alternative is waiting too long and then Giannis or Middleton says they want out.

There were quite a lot of articles about some bad playoff decisions (matchups, schemes) made by Bud with this roster, but yeah, this has Giannis all over it.

Result oriented business.

As for Joe, I doubt he’s going anywhere, they made the second round and it’s his first year, taking over under difficult circumstances. They won’t fire him on that basis, even though the minimum bar for the fans is a championship. They’ll figure he’s young and should be able to learn from his mistakes.

The Bucks have had some pretty big chokes.

Is this Bud's fault,  Or is it more because Giannis doesn't have a real offense aside from running people over?  Their 2nd best player, Holiday, isn't a natural scorer.

Middleton looks greatly diminished.

Lopez, Grayson, Connaughton, Matthews are all slow players who can be exploited defensively.

Maybe the Bucks are just flawed?

I know people will point to Budenholzer's failures in Atlanta as well.  But that Atlanta team was always doomed because they never had a true star. Hard to blame him for that.
