Just wanted to start a poll and see which Celtics team of the last decade did you enjoy watching and thought was very fun?

It's a tough one. I really like last year's Celtics team despite falling short in the Finals. But I also like the Isaiah Thomas Celtics...esp the year when he put up 53 points for his sister, and the 2018 C's that got to Game 7 of the ECF.

I especially dislike this year's team, and the ones with Kyrie or the bubble year lol.

The 2017/18 team was fun, but more importantly, we lost our big singing minutes into that season.  Imagine that team with a healthy Hayward.

In terms of fun I think watching IT force the team to punch above their weight class is pretty unmatched. Especially because it was after a few years of teams that felt pretty rudderless post KG & Paul shipping out.

In terms of fun I think watching IT force the team to punch above their weight class is pretty unmatched. Especially because it was after a few years of teams that felt pretty rudderless post KG & Paul shipping out.

And that team had low expectations, and teams with low expectations that overachieve are always more fun to watch than teams that teams with championship aspirations that underachieve. Even more so if that team appears to be entitled, and pick and choose which games to play well in, and don't seem to care if they win or lose, those are always frustrating for everyone to watch. Because we care, we expect them to care too.

I know the teams weren't as talented, but I had a lot of fun watching those 2015-2018 C's teams

I also had a ton of fun watching last year's team especially in the 2nd half + postseason

Ultimately if I had to pick, I'd say the Hospital Celtics team in 2017-2018 was the funnest for me especially the postseason. So much fun watching them compete and winning games. Scary Terry, the Jays, Horford, Baynes, etc. Sad end, but to get that far given the circumstances was great too.

Even though 2016-2017 was fun too, I just have some bad memories of it now primarily due to IT's sister, and also the way that ended (IT getting hurt which derailed his career, losing in 5 to CLE with 3 games not even being close; the Wizards series was dynamite though)

We've been lucky to have so many fun teams over the last 6-8 years. Not many teams can match or better that.

Isaiah’s magical season was by far my favorite since they traded Pierce and KG.

Why is this year listed as Tatum/Mazz but last year was Tatum/Brown/Udoka?

I voted for last year's team. I just had so much fun from about January onwards watching them destroy opponents. League rank 12th in offense and FIRST in defense with average game score of 112-104. This year: 4th in offense and 5th in defense with an average game score of 118-111.

Tough call.  In terms of pure enjoyment, I think it may have been IT's last year.  There was just something ultra likeable about that team.  The roster was made up mostly of role players, and then you've got this 5'9" point guard absolutely carrying the team.  You look at the talent on that team, and you wonder how the heck they performed as well as they did.  And, huge props to IT for one of the guttiest playoff performances I've seen, playing through both injury and the loss of his sister.

But, last year's team was special, too.  The way they galvanized around Ime's system and stomped opponents was the best sustained run of basketball we've seen since 2011 (prior to Shaq's injury).  Give us a healthy Rob Williams, and we have #18 right now.
