This one is on Joe. His defensive scheme is atrocious. No Embiid, but his drop coverage just let the sixers shoot as will.

Our playoff defence has been Washington Wizards level bad. Give up 120+ at will

This drop coverage basically is a 2 on 1  scheme that sixers exploited masterfully.

I don’t get the Joe blame. This team has played with the same attitude under THREE coaches now.

I’m not particularly worried about the series, but they clearly are NOT learning from their past. Not last series, not last season. They let teams off the hook time and time again.

They will blow the brakes off the Sixers next game but when will the next embarrassing loss come? Hopefully they got this series’ one out of the way tonight.

He is an idiot, but our vet players should know better. This isn't their first rodeo. This game should have been a blowout.

Keep doing what's not working.  Drop coverage where the big is in no man's land and not guarding anything. 

Tons of defensive mistakes.  Same garbage offense down the stretch dribbling the air out of the ball and waiting to long to initiate a play.

Garbage coaching, lack of focus by our players.  Just a sorry performance all around.

Why are so many people here blaiming coach Mazzula? The players chocked, and once again Tatum was a no show at the end.

Insisted on the drop coverage most of the night - despite how awful it was hemorrhaging points for us.

Played Al 50% more minutes than Timelord even though he was just atrocious all night and was a -17 to lead the team.

Continues to reinforce the awful lazy switches of bigs onto iso guards - i.e. the game-winning shot by Philly.

Awful play-calling down the stretch, particularly the last ATO where you put it in your fifth best player's hands instead of Tatum who was terrific all night.

And this is not even considering the fact that he has continuously failed to get the message through to the team about downplaying your opponent and having them prepared to play. He's just simply not an NBA caliber coach right now and the amount of talent we have has largely covered that dispartiy for him, but won't win us a title.
