I'll give ATL credit. They have been fighting every game and even today with Murray, they showed up and didn't quit. Wish the C's had this same heart and killer instinct to go along with the talent

I will tip the hat to Atlanta as well.  For as much as we screwed ourselves over in this game, the Hawks had to hit shots over and over again and they did.
Just painful to watch that slow-mo-car-crash ending
I remember Scal laughing at them during games 1 and 2...figuring this would be a cakewalk. Idiot.
That kind of bothered me too. He also kept saying "we wont be making a 2nd trip to ATL" over and over again. As well as the end of game 4 there was like 4 mins left and hes saying it was over, even Eddie House had to reel him in a little. Hes the worst commentator jinxer. Im big on not counting your chickens before they hatch lol
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Put this all on smart, Tatum and Joe

Tatum has been average at best this series. Tonight he was awful

how this team comes out for game 6 will speak volumes about whether they've smartened up and will end this or if they're going to fizzle out really quickly this year in the playoffs
I expect they'll come out strong in game 6. Their pride is hurt after this game. I expect a reaction.

Brown must be sitting and wondering now about his wasted effort because of the sheer stupidity of his coach and the other All Star.

Game six will be an Atlanta blowout. It’s coming down to game 7 in the garden. This is 2008 round one all over again
well if we get the 2008 end results which was a title, I'll live with this going 7 games

I would be happy to live with it too, but I am not as young as I was in 2008 and this playoff run is going to kill me if they keep this up! lol

Atlanta at home with all the momentum. Boston gave them life.

the game COMPLETELY changed when Tatum and Smart came back in that last time.
Those two weren't really ready to play and had two horrible TO's right when they came back in.
Then Smart got the T and the snowball was getting huge and heading right for us at that point.
Smart blew this game 100%.  Those two turnovers, the Tech, the bad foul that gave TY the two fts.
Man what a fiasco.  Gonna be some yelling in that locker room.

Tatum got the T, not Smart.

Ok, they said Smart on the broadcast.  That was when Smart got the off foul right?

Smart had a bad pass TO down the stretch, another questionable/borderline moving screen call down the stretch, and then the awful gamble foul.

The T was for Tatum blocking the ball after the play and hitting it into the stands. It was pretty suspect, but stupid of Tatum to even do it.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

He’s probably thinking, how did I go 1-5 at the free throw line

Missed free throws by brown and Rob

Techs and turnovers on Tatum

Stupid foul by Marcus

Lazy offense and absolutely zero defense

He should be thinking about "FREE"throws.

Don’t forget the multiple turnovers that JB had in last 3 minutes.  He’s the last guy I want on FT line with game on the line

Doesn't matter. It is only Atlanta.

ATL cannot beat BOS if BOS plays well. They can only beat BOS if BOS plays poorly.

BOS is in control. Not ATL.

If this series actually goes 7 then that's going to be embarrassing. Atlanta was supposed to be not just an easy first round opponent, but probably the EASIEST opponent in the entire field (even teams like the Wolves I feel are a bit better)

Counting on Boston to play well is a huge unknown
