For a team full of great defenders they play some of the laziest sloppy defense i have seen. The effort, the gameplan, everything about it disgusts me. Why are you backing up off of Young giving him a wide open shot. Those are shots Young, Curry, Lillard hit on the reg. And that offense in the 4th quarter was embarrassing. I dont get our coach sometimes, just mind boggling

Nah. This is over next game. Atlanta played desperate tonight and Trae had himself a great offensive game. Tip your cap and move onto the next one.

Trae is so fast and there is so much open room behind the defender. That is a tough situation.

Even tougher for a wing player like Jaylen who is slower and not able to pressure the ball on a speedy PG like Trae Young in today's environment where any slight contact is a foul.

In all fairness, the Celtics would have won without the whistles turning against them at the end. Fouls on Smart were BS and I still don't know what happened to get the technical foul called. They gave the Hawks an unearned chance.

the game COMPLETELY changed when Tatum and Smart came back in that last time.
Those two weren't really ready to play and had two horrible TO's right when they came back in.
Then Smart got the T and the snowball was getting huge and heading right for us at that point.
Smart blew this game 100%.  Those two turnovers, the Tech, the bad foul that gave TY the two fts.
Man what a fiasco.  Gonna be some yelling in that locker room.

every player had a hand in this loss.  Joe bears a lot of responsibility as well.

It’s just sad that after all these playoff experiences, they have learned absolutely nothing. It’s the same scared team that lost to GS and got knocked out by Lebron a bunch of times. You figure at some point they’ll learn to close out games.
