For some reason this is the first thing that crossed my mind too. Good thing the Rockets are a rebuilding team, I don’t think JB would be interested to get into a situation like that.

If the Celtics win the title this year or get close with Jaylen playing really well it’s exactly the situation he would want? An upcoming team that he could be the #1 option on.

I’m not sure he’d be the #1 option there either.  Jalen Green already put up 22 ppg at age 21 in his second season; in two years he’ll be going into his 4th season; by that age, Tatum was already the #1 guy on the Celtics; that could very well be Green’s trajectory too; not as good of an overall player, but could still very easily be seen as the #1 scoring option

How is Houston an up and coming team? They won 22 games and were tied for the 2nd worst record in the NBA. Orlando is a team that I would consider up and coming.

Whatever Ime did, he received punishment for it. Without knowing what it was, it's impossible to say whether the punishment was fitting or not but I liked him while he was the coach of the Celtics and wish him well. Not sure what else can be said about that.

As for this Jaylen stuff, as long as he makes an All NBA team as he is expected to, it's a non issue.

Ime seems like the perfect coach for what those boys need. Instill some discipline and accountability in them. But he’s got his work cut out for him.
