I still like Milwaukee to win the next 3 games.

It took one heck of an effort from Jimmy Butler to get this win. Can they survive without this type of a game from Jimmy?

It's possible but I see the same problem with the Bucks I always have. Who is going to help Giannis when it matters? Holiday is a streaky shooter and Middleton doesn't look the same.

They could, but even if they do that’ll wear MIL out big time going a full 7 games

I’m not burying MIL yet. 2 of next 3 at home and they still have Giannis. Butler isn’t going nuclear in Game 5, either.

But, man, it would be sweet to get MIL knocked out.

Heat are up 3-1, so they already have.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I've always thought the Bucks weren't good against great teams. During their winning streak they've basically crapped on a lot bad teams. They've lost to a lot of exceptional teams. Miami may be an 8th seed, but they got a superstar in Jimmy Butler.

Now the Heat just needs to close this out in Fiserv Forum

Butler nearly took the Celtics out last year in Game 7 if that shot went in, so I won't count him out again.

Glad he is their opponent and not us

It is fun to think about a potential Knicks vs Heat matchup

Starters

G: G Vincent vs J Brunson
G: Strus vs J Hart
F: J Butler vs RJ Barrett
F: Love vs Randle
C: Bam vs Mitchell Robinson

You gotta like how NY's defense matches up with Jimmy and the Heat. A lot of big physical defenders. Randle is going to be a nightmare for Kevin Love. Maybe Bam should take Randle and have Love defend M Robinson. Bam is more dynamic than M Robinson.

But that NY defense should be able to shut down those guys around Jimmy and make Jimmy beat them going one-on-one against tough defenders. Meanwhile, on the other end, Brunson and Randle should be able to get good looks against that MIA defense.

Reserves

G: Lowry vs McBride
G: Highsmith vs Quickley
F: D Robinson vs Grimes / Fournier
F: C Martin vs Obi Toppin
C: C Zeller vs Hartenstein

Interesting matchups. Lowry at PG, Quickley at SG. How does C Martin vs O Toppin play out? Speed vs power? Hartenstein should have the advantage over Zeller. D Robinson is playing well while Grimes / Fournier are playing less.

I like NY to beat MIA in the second round if that matchup happens. So I expect Boston will be playing New York in the ECF.

C's did the same exact thing the Bucks did. Started trying to run the clock out too soon and Butler took over.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Philadelphia, the 76ers are lamenting over this as they remembered they traded Jimmy Butler just to please Ben Simmons.

If the Sixers had kept Butler they'd have several championships right now.

Middleton was never an all-NBA defender or anything, but even for him, he's lost a step on that end.

Heat are up 3-1, so they already have.

But Giannis didn’t play for 2.5 of those 4 games. With Giannis, they do need Butler to be Herculean. He obviously was tonight.

I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if we see these two playing Game 7 on Sunday.

Yeah this is an odd take on this board. I mean they could, anything is possible. But what has anyone seen to give confidence that Milwaukee can win 3 in a row.

Their defense is poor. Duncan Robinson actually looks good against them.
