Well this was a lame sports night. Cs lose to the Sixers, and the Sox lose to the Pirates AGAIN.

Why did Joe let Brogdon miss those two FT’s? He should have called a timeout before Malcolm went to the line and reminded him that he’s a 90% FT shooter! Should be in OT right now. Completely unacceptable.

Amazing Gold, I was thinking the exact same thing. What could Coach Joe have been thinking ?

This game is also why Embiid is MVP. That Sixers team is horrendously bad without him lol

With Embiid 43 wins 22 losses [54 win pace]
Without Embiid 9 wins 5 losses [53 win pace]

This was probably the first loss where the next day I wake up and don't even care about it lol. Philly fans meanwhile are acting like they won the Finals. Sure, if Embiid puts up 52, Tatum struggles, we are missing two starters and are shooting poorly, I guess PHI can win in the final seconds by 2 points at home.

And not to take away from Embiid btw. He was a monster last night. Looked unstoppable

Agree with this sentiment.  I think we will have a better strategy for defending Embiid in the playoffs, starting with ball pressure when they bring it up to go into their sets.  Seems like they were able to get it into the post multiple times on an offensive set without worrying about the shot clock.  Embiid seems to struggle more in the double teams, and is an okay but not a great passer out of the post.

One thing that bothered me about game last night.  As well as Brogdon played, he doesn't see his open teammates very well. Guilty of tunnel vision too much.  This is fine when he makes his drives, but is frustrating and demoralizing for his teammates.  Guys will be wide open at the corner 3, which is considered one of the best shots in the NBA go unnoticed.

There was one play where he got his medicine. Smart had the ball up top and Brogdon was wide open at corner 3, and Smart just ignored him.  Did anyone else notice that play and find it weird?

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Brogdon is the best shooter on the team. Who exactly should he be passing up his own shot for? Pretty sure the coach wants Malcolm to be aggressive offensively when he comes in off the bench.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
