i wish we would have just played Brown and Timelord
finish Philly in this game, sit everyone the rest of the way
now Philly still has a small chance at the 2nd seed.

Boston in 5 over the sixers. Book it.

Tough loss but there is no way in hell that team is beating the Celtics in 7 game series.

3 seed is the way to go. Get the nets instead of Miami. Not worried about home court vs sixers

This game is also why Embiid is MVP. That Sixers team is horrendously bad without him lol

So Philly at home, Cs no brown or Rob. Tatum had an off night. Embiid went for 52 and the sixers eek out a 2 point win?

I just don’t see Philly doing anything in the playoffs

I disagree.  I still want the best record we can get so we can have HCA in the finals if we get there.  Plus there is no sure thing that Miami doesn't pass BRK for the 6 seed.  Heat are only 1 game behind the Nets.  Who knows what is happening with that

Nets lost today.

Nets have the tiebreaker, but I think if MIA wins out and Nets finish 1-2 the rest of the season they could drop to 7 and MIA moves to 6.

I guess my point is that no matter what, the 6/7 is out of our control and still is up in the air.  I just would have played JB and Timelord tonight and went for the sweep of philly and then be sure you can rest whomever after that with no further impact.

Hate a loss.  But I can sleep better knowing Rob is safe and sound.   ;D

would have been my approach as well -- beat Philly to send them a message and lock up the 2 seed so that gives plenty of opportunity to rest everyone for the last 3 games

The message was sent years ago.

Ah I remember the days of last year, whether we should've laid down flat to the Bucks and let them take the 2 seed and let Durant take on Giannis, or we take on Durant in the first-round.

Glad it turned out to be a sweep on the Nets, and the #2 seed came out to be pivotal- Game 7 against the Bucks at the TD Garden.

Why did Joe let Brogdon miss those two FT’s? He should have called a timeout before Malcolm went to the line and reminded him that he’s a 90% FT shooter! Should be in OT right now. Completely unacceptable.
