Looks like the C's may be conceding the 1 seed for good and giving guys rest

It'd take a minor miracle to get the #1 seed at this point.  better to rest players before the playoffs provided they're all ready for the Philly game to solidify the #2 seed.

The only caveat is that I would not rest both Tatum and Brown in the same game.  I think it is good for Brown to get to play without Tatum.  He gets a chance to be "the main man".  It seems to be good for his confidence.  Plus, if we have one of them on the floor, we still will generally have a good chance at winning.

If you feel RWill needs a rest, fine, we can play Muscala or Griffin.  Same for Horford.  Go ahead and rest Smart too.  We have White and Brogdon.

Agreed. If one of Tatum or Brown can go, and one of Horford or Timelord can go, C's should still win this game.

In my mind, that goes for this game and all remaining games.  I am actually OK if for some reason they have to rest both Horford and RWill in the same game.  Grant is another one who has looked banged up for while.  He looks like he could use some rest (if rest will actually help whatever his problem is).

I am sure the Celtics have a plan, worked out with the trainers and players.

JT did get a game off recently, and I expect he'll get another one next week in one of the Toronto games as well.

Utah is a tall team but Markkanen is out which should help us a ton. He killed us last time
